funny every linux distro I've tried lasted exactly 45 min before I got rid of it except ubuntu.

but it still isn't worth replacing xp, vista or 7 with.

never will be...why? two reasons...1. the software available for linux is so far behind in technology it's like using a computer from 1994.

2. hardware drivers support. you CANNOT just go out and buy and piece of hardware(multi function printer etc) and expect it to work in linux. companies just don't make drivers for linux.
