What is "The Tournament of Kings"? When I think of Vegas lately when it comes to entertainment, it's usually Rip-off Casino's, Buffets and *Ranches*, and all the stolen/copied architecture from around the globe. Am I missing something really special?

Now, just so you know, I am a living History re-enactor, and I am severely disappointed with the outfits here...not to mention the very very boring intro....

Never-the-less....I know the horses and the jousting isn't bad.....sigh...just a little too much hollywood for my taste.

@kipthecourtjester Oh absolutely! The thing is, the general public demand a LOT of stimulus to stay focused, at least enough for them to feel they got their money's worth. Remember, this is a for-profit corporation, a business like any other. They try to capture the sense of excitement of the period, but not so much every last detail. That's more in the Renn Faire's territory. If they really wanted to recreate the Middle Ages, the music would be nothing more than a drum and a flute.

i work at medieval times and i just can't understand why people video tape the show leaving a camera on the table is one thing but when people are standing filming the whole show they look like giant idiots cause they spend $70 to film something that they'll probably never watch

Really...? They serve you some Progresso-like tomato soup, flavorless chicken, a tiny rib, garlic bread, small potato, and a Mcdonalds style apple pie desert. All for 50 dollars! The food wasn't that great when I went.
