great review. The DRM is making the product a bad choice if you want to own a book... You don't have any right to use the books you buy. It's just long term leasing of some sort. They may delete or alter your content remotely... bad bad...
Good review. I'm always sceptical to products that want to control the costumer. You can only buy books from Amazon remotely. Only Amazon. What if they suspend my account for some unknown reason? They suspend your account if you return too many products.

I agree about the annoyance of the tiny screen... I ordered mine off Amazon to decide I don;t want it. Unfortunately, it's been shipped. Perhaps I'll use it to read comics, but 5 words per row - I don;t think so!
The browser seemed tempting... but I fear the tinyness. You should wait for 2010. A lot of new, bigger e-readers will be released. I think Kindle's still experimental. They just wanted to be amongst the first to manufacture this new technology.
