VCR Plus never made it any easier for my parents to program the VCR. Despite my explanations, they could never grasp what it was or how it worked.

My vcr plus lasted 22 years. I got it when I was 11 as a christmas gift, and it died last year. :(

i remember having a vcr plus i remember the first time it recorded. it was like a ghost turned the vcr on and changed the channel then recorded. it was freaky.

More like the furst Universal Remote. It used special codes to work wif a VCR.

I had a VCR with VCRPlus... it was a million times easier to just program the "cumbersome, old-fashioned way."
