  • WSU obviously deserved to lose this game, but I love how it was the only coverage we got nationally that year (the fact that we, as #8, lost) rather than getting coverage as a small school rocketing up the rankings by beating tough teams early in the season on the road.

  • WSU was 8-0 at this point after beating Syracuse on their home court. This game began a long downward tailspin that ended with no post season.
