I had to comment about ur braiding GIRLY I LOVE IT! I hate to see ppl with thick chunk behind braids for a sew in then their hair looks all puff ans ish on their head. So I commend u a lot on ur braiding!!!!
you dont know how angry and nervous i am ! because i try but i cant to braid my fucking hair! i am crying exactly now! i'd like to braid my hair to make a weave in by myself, because i have no money to spend with hairdressser every month......
Im just now creating an account so that i can comment on videos but i just wanted to tell you that i absolutely love your videos and how clear you make all your techniques. Ive watched several others and always find myself back with Ms. Chanda. Not only does your work reach people like me but your personality is so cool. You dont seem fake or phony. Great Job!
thanx chanda for this video. question. my daughter has all natural hair(no relaxer) and i did the braids a little different so they would lay flat, the problem came when I got to the closure...what is the title to the video with the closure. I'm sure I'll like your way better...help!!!
@dolliemom01 The braiding by the temple area is considered a "base".Usually if you are doing a sew in you would start from the base area first, and then continue sewing from that point on.
YOUR BABY IN THE BACKGROUND MADE THIS VIDEO EVEN MORE SPECIAL..........YOU SEEM TO BE A WONDER MOTHER AND SISTA...............GOD BLESS YOU SIS AND BE BLESS AS YOU CONTINUE TO BLESS OTHERS..........LOVE YA SIS

@beyonceboy100 I don't know. I'm really not a weave expert, or shall I say weave person at all. I've never worn weave, but I have been thinking about it. My hair length is a little past my shoulders, but I have been considering it because there are some styles that I've seen that I like, that require weave. You may need to ask the MsChanda.
so what do you do with the braids inhe back..do u braid the all together and sew then excess hair down? in not sure..but u braid fantastically!! i love all your videos!
girl u better go!! I am still trying to get the hang of it. Please let us know how do you sew it so the weft of the weave does not show when you are doing the invisible part? do you have a video for that? if anyone knows please comment??? thanks
Hi, I must say that I love your work. You are very talented and I learn a lot from watching your tutorials. I have a request. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial of the sew in with the invisible part without using glue.
Thank you for these videos. I just finished a sew-in with the invisible part using your techniques and it came out beautiful. I need a little practice on the gluing part. I've only done a sew-in once on myself at least I tried and I took it out the next day because it was a mess. Anyway. Great videos. Some invisible parts look weird to me but yours look natural.
i have a question...when sewing in the tracks...do you sew it thru the track or under the track? also...my hair is kinda thin so when i cornrow it down ...the cornrows are kinda spaced out...what do i do about that? also what do you do with the ends of the str8 back cornrows?

Not trying to be rude, but can someone PLSSSS explain why so many girls use that NASTY ass brown gel?!? Shit looks like ear wax! I'm just trying to figure out WHY ppl would want to walk around with something that looks like ear wax in their hair, or on their forehead??? Sorry but I just HAD to ask this question.
@covegirl06 because people choose to spend their money on what they want and what they think its best for their "Own" hair ...at one ponit of time brown gel was all you could find. I use clear gel, but i still think that the brown gel holds alot better
@xxtamaraxx3015 Clear gel been out for as long as I can remember. Black women just never used it. But I still dont get why any girl would wanna walk around having ppl thinking she's dirty and has ear wax all on the side of her ears and on top of her forehead. Not only does that gel look nasty, it dries the hell out of your hair and leaves nasty brown flakes. But hey, that's all on them lol.
@covegirl06 smh well if u are simple/narrow minded then maybe u would assume a person is nasty for having gel on their forehead. Why would you even allow a person to walk around with gel on their face without telling them? Like i said , clear gel hasnt been around long & if it was, it was either not available to alot alot of consumers,or poor quality. Smh and its 2010 alot of product quality has improved. Actaully i used some black gel a while back it didnt flake or harden my hair or anything
@xxtamaraxx3015 When I was like 8 yrs old, yeah, I really thought it was ear wax. As I got a little older I found out it was just gel. And those girls be knowin they have brown ish all on their forehead & temple; they dont care! Gel doesn't naturally look brown; its artificial color. Manufactuers just assume we want brown or black gel just bcus we're "black" lol. Thats y I dont like using "ethnic" hair products. Most of it looks AND smells bad, and is also BAD for our hair.
If your talking about AMPRO ur crazy I still use that and have been for ummm 15 years now it still works. By the way who has gel on their forehead???? WTF???

Fantastic Chanda, I can't wait to see the finished result! You are truly talented. Some people just have it. Do you do hair professionally?

Love your braid pattern.... The flatter your braids the smoother your weave lays to me..... I love it.
