Oh no, Blizzard used elements of Warhammer in Warcraft - this is entirely unheard of and uncalled for. It isn't as though Warhammer uses elements of LotR, and it's not like 40k has ever ripped off anything *cough* Dune *cough*.
Anyway, WoW is so far off Warhammer now that to compare the two games MMO's would be redundant. well, except for the UI, which was obviously inspired by WoW.

All of this and more is part of the plot of Dune, which GW obviously ripped a substantial chunk from to form part of 40's lore.

To clear up any confusion. Warhammer launched an RTS long before blizzard. RTS=real time strategie for those who don't know. Now with that being said, soon after, blizzard came out with their own RTS. Okay so far so good. Now, Blizzard Came out with D1+D@, when they were still doing RTS games. Okay then. At the time, GW was planning an MMO for WAR. But they waited for alot of others to come out so they could crush them. And they did. I hope this helps, JOIN DA WAAAGH!
well i gues the priest didn't win cause in the story line of the game ( i played it today ) teh chaos is conquering more and more land from the empires or what they are called. and winning till a certain point.

BTW if you look closely you will see when the Chaos warrior hit that Paladin/priest guy the axe got stuck in his side. When he kneels him you can see he aimed for the axe tip.
By the way to all those who arn't that keen eyed: when that chaos knight hit the paladin(or whatever the hell he was) the axe got inbedded in his side. When he kneeled him it pushed the axe tip in futher and that is what caused him to stagger.
