Also, you need to do research into the chronology of occurences in the north of ireland:

-The uvf, the brit paramilitary murdered first of, by killing several innocent catholics

-The catholics of NI marched for civil rights, and many times were ambushed and beaten by loyalist mobs and the police force alike

-The british forces were deployed after lyalists burned nationalist homes, to protect the nationalist

-After B Devlin was arrested armed loyalists entered republican areas, yet the IRA killed and injured several of these loyalists

-Then the falls curfew; the main republican area was sealed off and the brit army ravaged every residence in the area in search of IRA weapons, even though the IRA had inflicted no brit army casualties up till this point (AKA the rape of the falls)

-The first brit was killed by the IRA

-Then the brits killed two unarmed innocent catholics

The british forces (armed) had 50,000

The IRA killed about 1100 british forces

The british forces killed 293 Provo's (IRA men)

Not to mention the IRA also killed significant numbers of british paramilitaries

Around 5-20 percent of IRA victims were innocents

Around 60 percent of those killed by british army were innocent

Around 90 percent of those killed by the loyalist terrorists were innocent.

Yes, VIS is considered the best handgun ever made. It costs about 1000 USD to get it in USA. It is deadly accurate and reliable.

The vis is a take off of the 1911/Browning with the grip safety as with the 1908/1911 series pistolsand as such is an excellant pistol. Main drawback is an 8 round mag and the colt/browning 10/13 round mags don't fit to give it the extra firepower it needs.
