  • haha the aborigines never blow to each other head beqaus some digd have a lover tone that can damange your brain xD well i play to but i cant do the breath tec now

  • i'am getting one soon !!!

  • That's some beautiful music ya got going on. lol.

Hmm...do didgeridoos have notes to play? or do you just have to make it up as you go? I honestly don't know much about them. Haha

  • I think they're mostly a pretty intuitive instrument. It's like a constant bassline with some variations, but there are always rules that apply when playing music, of course, I just never bothered learning them! ^_^

  • hahahahah I love the sentence at the end...

this video actually made my day!!!!

  • Yaaaay! Gen, my gem! ^_^

I'm happy I could make you happy!

  • haha. funny. good one man.

  • ^_^ Thanks!

  • I couldn't even make the slightest bit of noise when I tried the didgeridoo, it really blew my lungs out.

Its seems you're the Maestro of Indigestion. Hee hee.

  • Oh yes. Indigestuoso Extraordinaire! That's me!! ^_^

  • A buddy of mine has one those. They are so hard to learn how to play. But are really cool when you can. Yours looks like a really nice one too.

  • Looks nice from afar. It's a cheap one, but that doesn't matter. Kind of pointless to buy a really good one when I don't know if I'll play it.

  • How different is a nice one? Its a hollow peice of wood isnt it?

  • Difference in quality of the wood, shape, acoustics, etc. Mine is a kind of "synthetic" feeling thing and probably sounds a lot flatter than proper ones, which is usually the case with cheap instruments.

  • Wow you must have a doctorate of Digeridoo-ology :D... Thank you wise master of long stick like instruments

  • ^_^ Silly person.

  • music to my ears. lol. for a moment i thought it was a bong

  • Hahah! That would be one hell Of a bong...

  • i been playin dige for 6 years

    and i must say

    u have mad skills

  • It's raw, unbridled talent, I know. I can't help being such a natural. ^_^

  • lol It was a spot on rendition of Beethoven's 9th.

  • Impressive, isn't it? Especially considering that I was trying for Mozart's unfinished Requiem Mass in D minor.

  • That reminds me of the tubes made by the natives in my country, called "rain maker" or something like that. It has the same dimensions as that one, only that is completely closed, made of wood and... it has like little stones inside, so when you turn it upside down like a snowball it sounds like rain. Very cute. Anyway, I see your ability to make random videos out of anything is completely mindblowing! Kudos!

  • Hahahah. ^_^ This is kind of a herald of things to come, though. Once I learn to use it semi-properly, I'll definitely use it in my music.

  • That's no didgeridoo? Thats a fartstick man. And dont deny it, you showed me the evidence right here.

  • But that's what the word "didjeridu" means! It's aborigi... nal for Fartstick!! TRUE!!

  • LOL. Dog only knows what the neighbours think. Christ. The guy living next to me plays the doo too but, well, it doesn't sound much like that. Thankfully.

  • yeah, thankfully because or else, you would just be groovin' all over the place and not get any sleep or work done, right? RIGHT?! ^_^

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • i know how hard it is to do the didge and thats why i say "5 thumbs up", but i could do a better blow- and humjob than you.... ;)

  • Heheheh, I'm not about to contest that statement for now. ^_^

  • It's amazing how you have an intrument that resembles 'one end' only to blow out a sound that signifies the 'other end'.

  • Heheheh! Very true!

  • I've heard a lot of didgeridoos played over here in Australia, but none with as much gusto as this performance, hehe!

  • Yeah, they can't compare with my presence of mind and talent, can they? I should probably have done it in the nude, though. That would have REALLY pushed the performance into stratospheric proportions. ^_^

  • Very true, lol! Striking body paint would surely have to be involved too though

  • Hmmmm... Good point. Perhaps, perhaps.

  • Was that Marit's voice? :)

  • No, it was one of my mistresses, but don't tell anyone! Sssshhhh! ^_^

  • oooooooooooooohh, where's the tallest mountain?

  • You know, I've never quite understood that term, considering that no one would hear you if you yelled anything from the top of the tallest mountain. You'd probably faint, as well, considering the thin-ness of the air up there... Maybe it's actually a candid way of saying "I don't really want people to know about it..." which gives it a very nice new context in terms of the whole "I love you so much, etc etc" way of using it. ^_^

  • OK, the sound of angry elephant in my ears and the prospect of you blowing yourself to near death (O the pathos, the pathos)

    LOL, I love your videos

  • ^_^ When I die, I'd like to be from too much blowing...

  • :-D

  • LOL! (should I get scared now? ;P)

    Always wanted one, damn you!

Good luck, hope you manage to get it sound "real" because that sound simply rockzorz ;D

  • YES YOU SHOULD!!! *breaks neck*

Ow... That hurt. maybe I shouldn't have broken MY neck... Not much of a threat, is it?

  • Well, I dono, Noa seem to be afraid saying LOL so was just wondering ;P Hey, you still have that "Didgeridoodoo" to smack with!

OK, now I get pictures in my head from Monty Python...whack.

  • ^_^ I'll go get the fish, shall I?

Oh, I have a great amount of dislike for the term "LOL", much like I hate "OMG" when used in all seriousness. However, I've met so many intelligent people (like Noa) who use it that I can't really judge the people who use it.

  • ACK!! And I use LOL every other sentence! It's because I AM chuckling inside and often out loud. Heehee and haha and all those others are not the way I laugh, so they feel weird. I never see it as a term, but read it out in full in my mind when I see it. What to do? What to do? Oh my. *fretting* <-- that kind of thing okay?

  • Oh, I don't mind emotes at all, I just have a strong dislike for excessive shortening. I'm a bit of a grammar nazi. I don't "dumb down" just because I'm communicating online. I've come to accept that others DO, but I refuse to do it myself. ^_^

  • Hahaha, you're like so many others I guess ;P But I think there are lots of people who *really* laugh out loud while they type LOL, I know I do and it's just a faster way to type. And yes like dancegypsy I too think LOL and OMFG and WTF - guess I been communicating too much in cyberspace :D

  • I've been a pretty much constant online presence since the mid-nineties, and yet I haven't been infected. NO EXCUSE! ^_^

The smiley, however, has a purpose. The purpose of graphically conveying what my face would in real life. So there!

  • Right ;P

Well erm... most of that shit comes from online gaming community thingies so erm... since I'm like gaming a lot online... is that an excuse? Talking about smilies, I have something you might enjoy reading. It's about online communication and the use of smilies. Will send linkie in PM.

  • Heh, you know what? I don't really care what you use. Like I said, I won't judge you.

  • I was just going to suggest indigestion when Marit said it. that had me laughing out loud! (still scared of saying lol to ya)

Aww I miss her! tell her I send my love!

  • Well, after that little curry blow-out right before she came in, who can blame you for thinking along those lines? ^_^

    I certainly will send it.

  • AHAHA!

You're on the way to the didgeridoo championship s already.

  • I knew someone would see my talent for what it is!

    A total fantasy! ^_^

  • Ah Obi-Wan we meet at last

  • For the first time for the last time!!!

  • I have digeridoo envy

  • Don't worry. It's a common ailment. Freud spoke of it many a time. ^_^

  • This video BLOWS!!! j/k

  • Well, the subject of the video certainly blows! At least I don't SUCK, eh?

  • No wonder you've been with Marit for five years... she KNOWS you!! LOL What a great present. I can't wait to see what you create with this. Nice little web address on the floor. I likeded it.

  • Precisely! I think I mentioned it ages ago, and all of a sudden I have one! Yay!!

  • haha what may i ask do you call that thing that looks like my legal marijuana pipe ^_^

  • Didgeridoo's the name, blowin's the game. It's supposed to sound a lot more like the guys in the related bar on the side here... ^_^

  • Circular breathing is insanely hard to do!

    Good luck with that.

  • Yeah, I haven't even started on that! ^_^

I did find what looks like a good how-to on circular breathing on the web (at didgeridoostore dot com) so I hope that works out...

  • Haha.. That's awesome. I want one!!

  • ^_^ Thanks! I'm starting to specialise in strange, traditional instruments! Can't wait to find some kind of a use for this in a song!

  • My girls go nuts over the woopie cushion. If they ever got their hands on one of these ... a smaller one of course. LOL.

  • Well, according to Jazzy, smaller ones to exist! They're loud as hell, though. I'm not sure you want to get them one, really. ^_^

  • Hey Sam, there are smaller ones, I got mine at a store called 'Green Earth', they're all over the GTA :)

  • We're talking real life, sweetie. Not some gangster game! Silly girl. *rolls eyes* ^_^

  • Oh no. I'm not buying them one. You know those birthday things with the roll our paper thingy that you blow into? Spit. All over the place. And the paper gets all soggy and they start eating it and .... I can see spit all over the place with this thingamagiggy for sure!

  • eek! :s Doesn't sound too pleasant, no. I'd stick with the violin any day, I wish my mother started me off playing an instrument like that.

  • You can learn it now. Rent a violin. I'm learning it as we speak so I can keep up with Sophia's homework. :)

  • I'm going to put it on my To-Do lists. I'll definitely use Sophia's violin lesson when I do choose to start!

  • Yum! Spit all over the place AND kids with tummy-aches! Does a better day exist in our history? I think not!

  • Fabulous ... and I rofl when I saw the web address! Which gives me an excuse to be less subtle!

  • Nothing gives you an excuse to spam my videos! However, you cleverly wedged it in with a personal message, you darned spambot, so I can't conscientiously delete it! Damn you, Stephano! ^_^

    Thanks!

  • geez, I bought my boyfriend one of those but like 4 times smaller. Don't I feel like a bad girlfriend now!

  • Maybe Marit just felt the need to compensate... *cries*

  • What does she expect? A horse?! LOL

  • Well, if she does... I mean, I'm fairly happy with my size, but if she's expecting THAT, then I'm afraid I'm out of the running. ^_^

  • It's how you work it

    .....right?

    *rolls eyes

  • Shit, then I'm REALLY in trouble!!

  • HOW HAS MORE THAN ONE PERSON BOUGHT THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER A DIDGERIDOO???

    IT'S SUCH A RANDOM GIFT!!!

    Okay, I'm done now.

  • That is scientifically wrong! Giving your significant other a didgeridoo has been clinically proven to be an awesome and non-random thing to do. So there! ^_^

  • I didn't say it wasn't awesome...but it IS pretty random, you must admit.

And what's with you and using science as evidence today? Pssh...science is questionable, unlike things like MAGIC.

  • It has been clinically proven by scientists that magic is the only constant.

  • Ooh...that's a tough argument to contest.

    Ouch.
