I never said anything about Dave, Megadeth is accually the better band and deffenatly after this ( just to remind you you brought this up not me ) After Metallica lost the "Dave Juice" and lost Cliff it was pretty much over, they made a few good songs but no real Metallica songs Which leaves me to say R.I.P. MetallicA 1988 (Release of AJFA) and Im not sure if you ever looked into the Metallica/Dave thing but they've made up a long time ago and are touring together.

I study all styles of guitar. Some of my favorite guitarists are Paul Gilbert, Guthrie Govan, John Petrucci, and Tom Quayle (at the moment i'm really digging his style). I don't feel bad about that in the slightest. the music I listen to at least has good musicians and they are GOOD songwriters. Metallica...sucks

@SeanAsheOfficial Those guitarists are obviously good and all, but quite frankly I don't care how fast a guitarist can play or how technical they are, I just care about if it sounds good and if it has passion, and (early) Metallica has that.

@soranaru That's great, if you take enough time to look up each guitarist, they are NOT about speed. They are about what fits the song to them. Kirk Hammett is NOT a good guitarist. The only thing he's ever had going for him are his riffs and rhythms. His vibrato (which is usually how they project their feel) and his phrasing are pretty bad and so is his timing. Oh sorry iforgot to add andy timmons to my favorite, now if you think he's all about speed then you're nuts! haha
