Taking a walk on a cloudy day, right when it begins to rain. Looking up at the forlorn sky. Wondering why all of the things that have happened in life have happened to you. Feeling a sense of loss for the things you might have experienced, had, and loved had it not been for these horrible things. Walking onward through the rain, giving no regard to your dampening clothes. It is not dark, but the rain clouds the light and creates shiftlessness, making you wish for order and peace in your life.
EVERYONE, CATTBOMBER24 IS MY FRIEND I THINK WHAT HE SAID WAS BAD BUT HES LYING HEHAS PARENTS I WAS THIER WHEN HE POSTED THE COMMENT I TRIED TO STOP HIM
This song brings me so much emotion. No real reason besides it's so beautiful. This is my favorite song of the whole movie. I especially love 2:53. Thank you Hisaishi, for bringing this beauty into my life.
When I hear this i cry my eyes out. I don't really care that im a boy that cries. The reason being i think of my best friend, who died and when i hear this i think of her smiling and cheering me up. I know she watches me from above. Great song, beautifully done.
i find this movie difficult to watch because i have memories of my parents who were kidnapped and murdered terribly. now my 20 year old brother takes care of me he has a job at subway and he dosnt eat just so i can have barely anything im using the computer at the local library. so please subscribe just to give me confidence in my life.
@catbomber24 using sob stories to get subscribers isn't cool. :[ i felt bad for u until i saw u only wanted subscribers for it. it sorta is disrespectful too for all of the ppl who really did have bad things happen to them. :(
@catbomber24 Dude my dad actually died man this is insulting thats wrong man you hurt me you fake you made this song sadder to me because of your comment your lying because if someone was kiddnapped and murdered it would be all over the news i never saw anythiing about that happening to two parents
If you close your eyes and just listen to the song, it feels like your in Death. You walk around and see all the people you know who aren't living anymore. They walk with you and they show you around but you end up feeling sadder and sadder until at 2:53 they stop you and tell you not to be sad about them. They say that even though you can't see them in life, that they're gonna be there for you and watching over you from Heaven. This is a beautiful song.
I remember seeing this movie with my father at the midnight premiere. I was a kid then, now hes passed and every time i hear this song, or watch the movie, i cant enjoy it because i think of my father. After he died i watched this movie on a car trip and i looked at the sunset, and i thought if i would ever see him again.
@AriesFiona yeah that's exactly how i feel. I can't distinguish the beauty or the sad feeling i get from this melody. Beautiful work none the less. I think its because of the low piano keys that gives it such an eerie feeling of sadness they the high ones that gives it a more somewhat, "lighthearted" feeling.
So, I woke up this morning , turned on the tv as im still laying in bed, and this was on, i was getting out of bed getting dressed, then i just got caught in a daze, i couldnt keep my eyes off the tv, eventually i fell down on the bed, and watched every last minute of it. My first time seeing this movie was just today, just minutes ago actually. And its amazing.
Listening to this incretible song, I just realised that my grandpa, who died long before I was born, was a great person and that I'd love to meet him one day, but even if I die, I might not. It's so sad, because he was such a wonderful person and I've been said to resemble him a lot... So I cried so hard after this D':
@UpwardsFallings Type in "AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON Soundtrack Score (Elmer Bernstein) " it should come up and then listen to it, its in the begenning
every time i lay down with the lights off and everything and listen to this song i feel like im in a completely different world its peaceful and beautiful and everything i could listen to this song for forever and constantly and never ever get tired of it :)
This scene elevates Spirited Away from just a good movie to a piece of high art. The scene is so masterfully incorporated in the movie and offers a suspension period. Before the train scene, there is a long stretch of high tension and action--No Face is swallowing people and trying to destroy Chihiro. Then after that action, we are given this scene which puts all action on pause--has us wait and reflect about the adventure we're embarking on.
the train scene of spirited away is one of the most beautiful scenes in the movie. every time i watch that scene, every time i hear this haunting music, i find myself in a trance. it's magical. it makes me cry. it's truly a masterpiece.
Back when I was six, I always watched this movie! Right now I'm 13 and I still love this movie. If this movie went on forever, I would watch it, if there was such I world like this, I would try to find it. I can't even explain how much I love this movie, it is so amazing. Miyazaki is the most amazing person I would not even be able to explain him in words. And whenever I hear this song I get teary eyed! It's the most amazing movie you could ever see. I really enjoy it every time I watch it.
I'm a 16 year old guy, I live in a rather rough area In England, Poverty violence and such, to be able to openly say I cry at this song, Films like spirited away brought me up to be like this. To show yourself not the male stereotype.
@OkamiSG I think its magic is in causing nostalgia. I listen to this, and I see my friends who died, or my family who have died...Then I see flashes of my past, bits of memory recorded that altered my life for the better or the worse. I have listened to this song so much, now when I listen I think of only the bad things. I no longer see the good...
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. This man...He...he's just amazing and leaves me in awe with every piece of music he composes....He never fails to make me sad, or happy or exhilerated. His music is so emotional, utterly beautiful In all ways...
Probably my favourite song from the Spirited Away soundtrack.
