Warrick was drafted in 2000. The bengals were terrible enough THREE YEARS LATER to get the number 1 overall pick and get carson palmer. Hell even during their best years besides the current one, they've been medicore at best.

By the time they drafted Palmer, Warrick had already suffered multiple injuries and suffered under the completely inept cinci coaching staff.

I use to think he was so fast, but he was really extremely quick. He was so quick that it intimidated other players trying to tackle him, sometimes to a point where most just threw their limp uncoordinated bodies at him like fish flopping. Yeah but he did that to every team, he was incredible. Unfortunately it didn't translate into a good pro career. I think he had the ability to cut, which came off as him having great speed, but he was just 'fast' not great speed, where in the NFL every player has speed. Amazing college player though.

@mattc941 Pete came at da wrong time in da NFL. Cincy had a sorry ass QB kitna and Chad came in when Palmer came in. Pete last year was his best and knee was fuked up. Then, to top off that Pete ran a 4.2 in H.S and in college ran a 4.3 but the combine he ran a 4.6. Remember, in h.s and college you race another person to determine your forty time. In the NFL you just run by yourself. Pete must have great speed if he burn da U and Florida and VT secondary lol.

No, he has not shown that he can overcome all the injuries. He is turning 32 in less than a month. He hasn't even been able to make the roster for an Arena team. Hopefully he can stay healthy, get back into shape, and maybe land somewhere and have a couple quality seasons, but I doubt it. The Chiefs need receivers bad, so he should try out with them.
