They both have their own strengths... it's like comparing apples and oranges. Can't be done. They're both awesome XD Though I have to say I think Eowyn's more accessable or relatable to myself as a mortal woman with more visible flaws and faults.

Yeah - I guess ur rite. I respect Arwen cos she's willing to give up her immortality just to be with Aragorn (power of love), and I respect Eowyn cos she's willing to fight for the people and the country she loves.

Don't forget that Arwen risked her life for Frodo and kept him safe from the wraiths or whatever they are called, been a while since I've seen it. So she is tough and willing to fight as well.

Yeah, you have a point there. But basically I think the perception of women in culture is changing, so they had to make adjustments otherwise some ppl would've accused Tolkien of being too sexist.

Yeah I never did read the books so I wouldn't know how much of the story was changed for the movie. I was going to read the books, but that woulda spoiled the movie lol:)

I guess so. For me, I read the books AFTER I watched the movie so either way I was satisfied.
