  • oes this work for older dogs ?

  • Good vid on potty training. And, no, crates are not mean. They are protective and the dog learns that they are a "safe space" if trained properly.

  • I didn't confine my dog to train him, I had a pad on the floor. Keeping a dog in a cage is animal cruelty.

  • @soleilangela Keeping a dog in a cage, is like keeping a human in a car.

    Talk about over reacting!

  • @JiraDogLuver you know nothing about dogs! They're not humans. By treating them like people you're doing them harm because that kind of treatment leads to destructive behavior instead of obedience. It's because of ignorant people like you our shelters are full with dogs that are being put to sleep every day. So take your little whiny ass some place else.

  • @MorpheousLA No, I won't take my whiny little ass some place else. Because putting a dog in a damn cage isn't going to cause any harm. And when your house-training a dog it's the best idea to keep it in a kennel or outside. I don't agree puppy's should be shut in cages for a long time, but I think it is proper if you keep a cage open, and put a baby gate circling the cage, leaving space for the puppy to play, eat, and drink. Also most people who own puppies us big cages, so it has room.

  • @MorpheousLA Also, I think it is best to keep him in the kennel when you leave. It is something I learned my lesson from.

  • He is soooooooooooooo cute !! I love that dog ...

  • what an ugly ass dog...

  • at the very beginning, does he say "when you aren't home, confine you puppy...." or does he say "when you ARE AT home, confine your puppy..."

and what is with the THREE treats, thats kinda random :) but nice vid

  • well thats really great but how the hell are you sopose to teach him how to ring a bell?!

  • you could do this: ties the bells to the door and hold a treat in your hand above/behind/next to the bells, it they hit the bells, immediately open the door and start praising. if you have to, you can kinda nudge your dogs head into the bells, and when it makes a sound, the door opens and you praise and take outside. also, ring the bells everytime you open the door for something. it will take a while, so be patient, but it should work :)
