The average electronic device contains material that would be harmful if consumed. Frankly, i would consider eating plastic and metal harmful to me. I also consider eating coins, toys, and hell just about anything that is not food, to be harmful to me.
You know those Americans. If it's a toss up between walking five feet for a Burger or eat their phone/ipod. You know whats going down their chubby throats.
Personally, I prefer a good old chunk of telephone and book. Life was far simpler when these things were made out of a plain piece of plastic and some wires, and they tasted better too. Oh, and try a little bit of vinyl, mp3's just taste of air.
It must have been a REALLY slow news day. People don't seem to realize how much pollution they breathe in while driving in heavy traffic and yet someone is worried about a chemical used in production of the wire casing.
