Omg thank you so much for uploading this! This is one of the very few good memories from my otherwise sad childhood.. Still a hauntingly beautiful song even to this day, gave me goosebumps instantly. Takes me back to that world of magical fantasy everytime :)

We used to watch this show as a family, back when the children were little - every Saturday night at 10 PM, for a season - a wonderful recreation of an enduring legend - it was always magic, even with the occasional bit of cheese - the long episode about the Satanic Abbess was particularly ambitious, great camera work - not quite adult enough for, er, adults, but great for the whole fam - Go, Hooded Man!

The spirit of the Deer posses me when I saw this serie the very first time, and never went away. I live it every day, and now I teach it`s path to muy children. I am just a twig on Robin`s hood, but I am there.

I've always loved the theme and calmness of this track, but something puzzles me and distracts me each time I listen to it. What is the ridiculously silly noise at 2:16. It sounds like a clown honking his nose. It's in every version of the track I've heard, and each time it pops up I get a gigglefit imagining a clown creeping out behind a tree and going *bop* on his nose hooter. I still love the track, but I actually burst some stitches laughing at it once. Thanks for uploading though!

@Ultragravy lol you're right, I never noticed that before! I would say it sounds like a duff note played on the double bass (with all respect to Ciaran Brennan) that the producer let slip through, as it happens at the beginning of the bass run. I'm pretty sure that no clowns were involved in the recording :)

I'm glad that you've succeeded in re-uploading this terrific video, let's hope that the 'powers that be' leave it alone this time.

It contains a fab selection of clips/scenes. It may be an older video it matters not for it is a great introduction to all the main characters especially Michael Praed in the title role for Series 1 and 2 of the show; Robin of Loxley.
