Raye Dawn Kelsey's Mom had chance's to take Kelsey & leave. She seen Mike kick Kelsey out of bed and she flew across the floor. Her so called Mom should have left with Kelsey that time & did not. It started an arugument between Mike & Raye that is all. If she would have left that day, Kelsey would be with her family today! There are other time's she had the chance to leave & did not, only argued. You all need to read legal document's! She even admitted herself in the investagation she had also!
Raye almost got her daughter taken away before Kelsey's death because she said Kelsey got shampoo in her eyes when it was proven that her eyes had been taped by mike and then the social worker spotted the flip flops later that she told them to get rid of. They obviously should have got her taken away. This was the months that the briggs had no contact with her whatsoever so they couldn't be blamed like so many people are trying to do!!!

Her mama would still go to jail even with a new trial. She was charged as an enabler of child abuse. That means that she enabled the opportunity for the abuse to occur. SHE DID! She invited the man who killed Kelsey into Kelsey's life. The mom left Kelsey alone in his care so he had the opportunity to abuse and kill the child. More and more kids are abused or die at the hand of a boyfriend or stepparent...parents need to start putting their kids first and not their own needs!
