  • They are awesome ^^

  • Oh I love this video, this is how I know Shepherds. Thanks for sharing x

  • that is the sweetest thing i've ever seen in my life!

  • they are super cute!!! XD

  • our beautiful 18 month old German Shepherd passed away suddenly on June 5th, 2011...

I think that she would have been the same way with our kids someday...we shall never know...

  • @Shondah I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. Do you know what the cause of death was? x

  • MY GSD is such a wonderful dog he makes me feel so protected and we love him very much, Even though he is now going blind he still plays like a baby.

  • ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! Look at how the dog's PLAYING and acting all cutesy!! LOL!!! Very heartwarming...thanks for posting!!

  • i rather have a gsd than a gun

  • LOL! thats super adorable! the dog wants to play with him so bad xD

  • this just makes me wanna sing the theme song from toy story

  • that was so cute.

  • Thank You to everyone for the wonderful comments, My son is now 4 years old and he and Jagger are the best of friends.... Bad dogs do bad things, this is a fact just like people. My shepherd will not allow any strangers anywhere near my wife or my son all the while being nothing but an angel with my son. Shepherds are simply the best, but that is because he was raised that way!!!! people forget these things all the time...

  • we had a german sheperd all it did was sit in front of my sisters cot and if anyone it didnt know went nere it it would go mad.there great with kids if you bring them up right best dog i ever had

  • dog whisperer is proud of you ma'm for correcting the dog

  • To all those whom have mention it to me and any other hurt by my mention of our GSD. I don't know what to say. None of your saying ANY dog is wonderful will ever bring my sight back to both eyes.

If you say you had a wonderful dog great! We did, until for whatever reason he decided to attack. It was not just a bite it was a bite and some very nasty shaking.

I am not calling anyone a liar OK?

But believe me when I tell you what happened to me.

  • wait his name is jaga?!!! my GERMAN SHEPERDS name is jag...

  • So cute

  • its so great how the baby keeps on laughing and laughing !!! Thank you for the video!

  • @mrbluenun actually they were and are herding dogs (not hunting dogs).

  • i cried while seeing this :') i remember when i was a baby and my german shepherd watched over me all the time ,we used to sleep together ..he was like my best friend.GS's are the dogs ..he would never hurt this baby or let anyone else hurt it....(another tear)...i wish mine was here :( RIP WOLF i love you

  • naww that what im like with my dog, im 18 and she is 4.

  • Very nice today when 'mom' is watching. Wonder what happens when mom happens to answer the door or go to the loo, or turn the gas off, will jagger take that time to nip just that bit too hard?

I hope not, but, hey, you just do not know what he will do when you are not there. He almost went to far when you WERE there. I wish you luck. These were and are hunting dogs, and will always be.

    Take care, mrbluenun

  • @mrbluenun That dog knows better, it was bred to be a guard dog as well as a herding dog, GSD's can take alot before turning. And with something that tiny they see it as a pup& what do all dogs do? guard their young. My cousins son was 6 months old, and when his mother left his side to go get his bottle my GSD watched over him and would not allow the father near his son until the mother came back. get your facts straight, these were sheep herding dogs. The hunting dogs are bloodhounds&pointers:)

  • @mrbluenun really do your homework before you go ranting on about something like that... GSD are herding dogs. What you are saying would make sense with other dogs (maybe) but not this one. My GSD actually looks for my nephew when she cannot find him. I wish YOU luck.

    :)

  • @mrbluenun

"hunting dogs" ??? You clearly know nothing about dogs. They are called German SHEPHERDS for a reason. They are herding dogs. Do some research or perhaps some word association before spouting off ignorant nonsense. If you got attacked by your family dog, someone in the household was either abusing it, neglecting it, or both.

  • A well raised dog knows, that it has to protect the offspring ;). When I was 2 years old, my grandparents had a dog, too. It was some kind of black sheppard. He always watched over me and I loved him. Theres nothing better :).

  • i have a german shepherd and she is great with babys. my friend has a 1 year old who pull her around and she does notthink but just lay there. and i do agrre it the way you bring them up.

  • wow amazing dog :)

  • That dog will never hurt the baby. He won't let anyone else hurt her either. My daughter had a GSD babysitter when she was that age and older. They were inseparable pals. She's grown now and has her own GSD.

  • For thousands of years there has been no story told to rival the love, loyalty, and devotion between a boy and his dog. They were beside us at the dawn of civilization when we first learned to hunt and they will remain faithfully by our side watching the very last sunset as the world comes to an end.

  • hahaha,,,awww,,he's a big puppy! wants your baby to play with him so bad:),,cute

  • Dog loves his young human master.

  • I had 3 german sheperds in my life. They are really good dogs, with there own mind.

But I never left them alone, with people, they didn´t know. There mentalety is some kind of weird.

  • If you know anything about dogs, that dog don´t likes, what he has to do. Little babies and big dogs can´t go along like that.

  • awesome dog..i love his bark and how he tries to make the baby laugh..awesome

  • my german sheppard protects my daughter =) ... atleast i feel safe when i work at night .... she is the best dog ever..

  • Love it...thanks for posting

  • buddies 4ever!!

thank you! germad sheps r Amazing, how they protect their family n close friends

  • I feel warm and fuzzy all over...

  • Wonderful. I have a picture of my GSD that passed on. Her paws on the baby crib rail checking out my now 24yr old Marine son the day we brought him home from the hospital. Watchout they grow up fast. My kids loved growing up with a GSD. Thanks for sharing!

  • ahhhh so cut my nans german shepherd dog called chaplin... every time i go too stroke him he rolls on to his back for a belly rub lol :) cute dog !

  • I love the noises that Jagger is making.

  • Very cute Bunch of kids you have :)

Jagger is dashing and very handsome!!

  • German Shepherds.... gotta love em!!! we just got our third shepherd! She's got some learning to do (she's a year) but she's picking it up quick. Its how they're raised that makes all the difference. Awesome dogs.

  • i have a german shepherd she is very good with kids

  • lol when the baby laughs the dog also cracks up :D <3

  • Is the dog playing some sort of pick-a-boo with the baby? your dog is like your baby's buddy, babysitter & bodyguard (& occasional personal groomer;D) sooo adorable!

  • this is very loving to watch but at the same time scares me a bit

  • Ma'am I understand being protective but the dog was being affectionate is all but yeah he's big and the baby is small.

  • thats a real dog

  • this so much reminds me of my childhood...when playing in front of our yard our german shephard would never go more than a three metres away from my sister and i from the day we were born, a very loyal and protective dog :)

  • This is soooo sweet... the dog has so much love for the little boy that he keeps moving around! What a great video, wonderful...

  • so cute, beautiful pair, and great video.

  • my brother in law has a German Shepard and he loves my two kids a whole lot and when they were first born he would lay down next to whatever they were in to protect them and still do to this day

  • dog almost bit off the childs nose....

  • @palpatine93 the dog kissed him you idiot. he didn't bite him or even try to bite him.

  • @FallingxStar19 well sorry then. its what i thought and obviously wasn't true....

  • whoa your dog is as neurotic as mine! hahaha German Shepherds are nuts xDD awesome! love him <3

  • He he, what a hyper dog :3

  • Comment removed

  • it's just the dog that takes care of the baby he takes care of the baby and play with him and also the dog enjoys it at the same time!!the dogs is the best human's friend :)

  • the dog's having alot of fun, i guess

  • aww adorable... they're besties...

  • Thanks for the vid!

  • LOL It's like your dog enjoys your babies laughing and joy and is trying to induce more of it..This is so CUTE! Your dog is excited by your baby's laughing and your baby is excited by your dog's excitement.

  • its incredible how they know they need to be gentle with small ones :)

  • thats so cute

  • so cute video!

  • precious

  • he will eat the baby! yummy yummy baby in da dog-belly!

  • he will always protect the baby :)

  • That is lovely . . .

  • What A Kool Dog And Playful Baby :)

  • He reminds me of my puppy, who is a complete FOOL. I can see he loves your baby, but has no idea how to show it! My puppy would not be let alone with a baby (or child since i don't have any!) But you are doing just fine supervising them. AND THAT BABY'S LAUGH IS SO INFECTIOUS! He's a sweetie, too!

  • what a good dog

  • that dog will be that little boys protector for the rest of his life and I wouldn't have it any other way

  • You are right, but on the bed is gross already-I know how much dander my GSD gives off, not to mention the year round shedding

  • @badboz800 shepherds are known for the best bodyguard dogs for babys and kids. I see alot of kids 10 and under walking the streets with k9. Because parents can trust a German Shepherd to protect them

  • My mom's boyfriend got a German Shepard as a puppy, and I just fell in love with her, when she was small, she used to sleep down by my feet, I haven't seen her in a week but I miss her being small, because they are just as cute small and they are so curios. My favorite breed right when I saw her face for the first time.

  • reminds me of my german sheperd that dog wouldnt hurt anyone unless there hurting one of my familiy members in our house

  • Aww... the dog wants to play, but is trying to restrain himself.

  • funny how as soon as he touches him he rettreats best dogs ever

  • precious

  • I love german shepards don't really like any other kinds of dogs. Great video.

  • More proof that this breed can be trusted with young children.

When will people realise it's how they are raised that makes the difference!

I love this kids laugh, so cute!

  • More than trusted. They will take a bullet for a member of their pack(family)

  • My GSD will be two next March, I had to break in to my house last week, and a seemingly sweet dog that wouldn't hurt a fly dog instantly became any burglars worst nightmare, until she realized it was just me. One day she wouldn't bark at anything, literally the next day she transformed in to this amazing home security system, but I think in all actuality she doesn't have it in her to ever do anything, too sweet of a dog!

  • Lol, why'd you have to break in to your house? :P Yeah, I know what you mean. Me and Tasha walk by ourselves a lot and if I see some strange man or something, she'll bark and growl enough to make a grown man wet his pants, but she'd never hurt him, lol. GSD's can be great dogs when raised right (like Jagger!).

    - Amanda & Tasha

  • @melfromhell01

I know but sometimes the dog may do it on ACCIDENT!

  • @LPSgirlSHK for sure:) Which is why no matter how much you trust the dog, there always needs to be adult supervision. :) xoxo

  • @melfromhell01 SOMEONE FINALLY GETS IT! Thank you! It's about how you raise your dog, just like how you raise a child. A lot of people think that big dogs are all dangerous. Well, no! If you train them right, they will be your best friend. People just don't hate others for being tall, same goes with animals. God bless animal lovers everywhere.

  • god i love this video!!

  • I LIKE IT... AWESOME

  • Favorite video!! Thank you SO much for sharing!!

  • really a protective mother

  • xexexe fucking amazing

  • Shepherds are also known as Alsatians, its another word for teh breed of german shepherds. Great video by the way.

  • your right about that...

  • *you're right about that...

    As in you...are

  • wow so sweettttttttttttttt

  • handsome dog......okay looking baby

  • that kids shit is more cute than you.

  • ha.ha. you are looking a problem... peace my friend...

  • That was really cute. I absolutely adore German Shepherds. They are a great breed of dog. I have a german shepherd and sharpei mix named Destiny. She's basically like a German Shepherd. She has more qualities of a GSD than a sharpei.

  • OMG The dog loves the baby LOL so cute

  • so cute!

    your baby laughs a lot!

  • Oh my gosh, your son is so cute and your dog is too beautiful!!

  • baby's first ROFL

  • cutee&funny:)♥

  • A dog-lover in the making :)

  • Omg that was so cute and funny ^_^

  • GSDs are the most popular dogs and the cutest ones that I have seen in all my life. Great video. ignore the rude comments from the people who don't know shit about dogs. keep the videos of the dog and baby going.

  • GSDs rule!!! i am getting mine soon. your command tone is soft that your dog responds in a jiffy.

  • omg thats soo cute! :D nice dog,

  • ahh that the cutest thing iv seen

  • aww soo cute.

i cant wait till mine gets big!

  • That put a smile on my face.

  • so cute!

    how old is jager???

  • Jagger is going to be 4 this spring.

  • Dog keeps looking over like, "you gettin' this on camera?" Haha. Adorable.

  • the dog is puttin up a show

  • insanely cute video, omg! proves that GSD are the BEST pets ever!

  • Your baby is so cute!and your Jagger is such a darling! I love the way he keeps trying to get ur lil one to play... ;) so adorable...i love GSDs!

  • Thank you!

  • That is so sweet - especially how the GSD keeps inviting the baby to play

  • aww that is wayy to cute :]

  • Omg i love this dog lol... but i dont know if i love him more then mine XD.

  • too funny. GSD's are the greatest breed. I hope mine is like this when we have our first baby!

  • LOL but.. if u treat ur dog like scheisse he/she will be a really crapy dog, but it looks like they did a good job at raising the dog. so shush U!

  • so cute!

  • The naysayers commenting on this video are clueless regarding the GSD breed. I have two GSD's and my female is as excitable and sweet as your Jagger and LOVES kids too. Your baby will be very lucky to grow up with this awesome dog as his best friend. God Bless you all!!

  • Nice video. You have a very sweet baby and a sweet dog.

  • Such a cool vid. Ignore the buzzkill comments, obviously those people feel so insecure they have to leave lame comments.

  • LOL the dog is like... "you make funny noises, i like you!" haha so cute

  • pow

  • Oh, what fun, even if your little hands get wet from doggy kisses. I'd just love to have a transcript of their conversation. Adorable and hilarious!

  • was you saying easy Jagger cause it was getting a little to exicted and in his own way, he MIGHT have nibbled the kid, even though to Jagger he is just playing

  • Whayt is it about babies that think animals are funny? XD

  • raspicous or whatever dont be mad cause ur parents never took care of u rite and let ur dog bite u u could tell the parents are always by him

  • rarecpus, shut up. This is a very gentle dog, and the mom CLEARLY wasn't saying "no" to keep it from biting her son. I have two German Shepherds and they would never, ever bite my children. But they are very exciteable dogs and I am constantly telling them no to keep them from becoming overexuberant and possibly knocking a child over! Get a life!

  • I agree with you, and this video clearly shows how gentle the dog is to the baby becuase of the love and protection they they both have for each other. And he's very excited about the baby and keeps him safe. And rarecpus you are suck a jerkwad, get a life.

  • Clearly you have affection issues. Was it because your daddy paid you a "special visit" every other night or you were dropped on your head to much?? Not to sure, but one thing is for sure. You and Jamesdavid are the poster childen for the useless and unwanted..... Go away!

  • Agree with you there, smyoung11, jamesdavid and rarecpus needs a lesson in learning which animals are considered pets and which are not considered pets. They need to think before they make comments here. And I definitely think something is wrong wuth thier heads. Imean, i've seen plenty of dogs being nice to children, especially puppies and theya re so gentle with them.

  • I LOVE your responses to the absolute idiots that are on Youtube simply to make everyone miserable. You know you can report abuse? Don't know if you feel that is necessary or not, just a thought. I have two German Shepherds; what a great breed.

  • Thanks sumartin, I know and there are a lot of idiots trying to ruin people's lives with their rude comments saying "this video sucks" "you don't desrve 5 starts for this video" and what not. They even did it on my first music video sayuing its retarded, I mean how stupid can these people get anyway? Its just a video showing love and affection What's wrong with that? Sheesh, I mean all this is jjust showing how dogs truly adores little children and young puppies.

  • Rarecpus, amybe you don't know a damn thing about dogs, or perhaps you were raised in a barn by pigs when you were younger. German shepherds like jagger here is very friendly to baby Blake here and it shows how much it cares for the child, not to mention the love it gives to him. And obviously Rarecpus, you were never raised properly, so u need to keep your mouth shut.

  • What is it with people putting such rude comments to this video? Jagger won't even hurt a fly and he would never hurt that baby. it shows signs of affection towards the child and having fun with him. And jamesdavid, what do you know about dogs anyway? you are the one that hass issues, so grow the hell up.

  • your dog is SO amazing!! they will definitely be best friends forEVER!!

  • this is the cutest thing ever! what a good dog.

  • ya james david shut up my sheapard is to nice to bite anyoen btu the other one is very aware of its surroundings and is very protective but would never bite anyone unless commanded to stupid. get a dog and try to learn it. nice vid by the way. hehehe

  • The dog's entertaining him.... that's way too cute.

  • No, just because you are a moron, so be a good little chap and go away!

  • And all it would have taken was your daddy pulling out one more time and that would have been it for you! And now the world is a much dumber place because of him......

  • Oh YES! Most definitely!

  • wow, jamesdavid, you are even more gung ho then i had first thought. Jags here is being really nice to the baby because of his playfulness and love to teh child. He wouldn't bite him. Maybe you should think before you comment, jamesdavid, read more about dogs in the wikipedia and get one and learn the basics of taking care of a dog, why don't you.

  • Thank You, they have now moved on to Jagger being a tackling dummy.... But the kisses still come daily, Blake actually asks him for them now.

  • Ah I see, love always comes with the dog and baby, eh? Very cool. Together the babyand dog have a strong bond of friendship, love and trust together.
