  • I have driven one of these for 25,000 miles and I can successfully conclude that the 4 spd is not enough gears because it has to work so hard to keep it at 70 mph that your mileage ends up sucking

  • @nckflb Agreed. A 4-speed transmission should have no place in a 2010 model car anyway. It's a good thing this engine is torquey for it's size though, so at low speeds it's not bad. But once you get on the highway, going from like 75-90 is a pain.

  • I just dont get why Toyota wont upgrade to 6 speeds. I mean the Camry has been benefiting from one since 2010.

  • this car is slower than the 2002 model

    thumbs up ppl

  • I have one of these (2wd) and I LOVE that sound that starts around 3k rpm and goes all the way up in 1st gear!

  • So is THIS what you drive when the GranTurismo is being serviced???

  • @kingdarius5252 Yup, the dealer always gives me shitty loaner cars.

  • @Maserati7200

    lol

  • nice i also got a rav4 but it's a lot diffrient it's 2.2 177HP diesel, 295 ft-lbs torque, 6 speed manual. do you get a good milage with a 2.5

  • @simon1234simon I drive heavy footed, and get around 20 MPG city (that was an average over a year of not resetting the MPG clock). On a 120 Mile long 70 MPH cruise I averaged about 26 MPG. On certain stretches of road if I control my foot I can get 34 MPG for a significant amount of time. But on most highway runs where i go between 70-95 MPH, I'll average 23-24 MPG.
