Bah, and here I thought it would be fun and original to kill a brute with only melee, only to find it's been done several times already.

Oh well, it was entertaining. :D

The differences in tactics is that I never tried to swing at it while it is charging past me, I simply dodged it's punch, then stomped it twice before evading and chasing after it during it's charge, and then stomp 2 more times.

Oh well, good show mate. :)

Wait, I just noticed this. The brute, slightly resembles a Siam from Silent hill Homecoming. Or the Siam resembles the Brute from Dead Space. It's just they have the textures that proper suit the game. Ei, brute has armour plating, with the necro details, and the Siam has the silent hill, just skin look.

you know the brute you fight when you have to move the marker? I kill it by freezing it on the edge of the bridge and then I open it and he fell but he was alive... until the bridge closed on him.

This guy is very pro dodging the brute's hits im playing in imposible and when i saw this clip i was amazed i tried to but u must be carefull and stay near a corner when the brute is in that charge when it tries to hit u and when it rises his punch u can dodge hardly or easely

Nah, this is just showing how to kill it without weapons, the sssslllllooooooww way.. But of course you have to be holding a weapon or Isaac can't melee hit lol..

Handy if you run out of ammo in impossible mode though. But even in impossible mode I always had at least one stasis left for these beasts so I slowed them and shot one arm off, then finished em off with their own pods like in this video..

play on the hard difficulties from the get go, playing on easy really ruins the experience of the game.

Trust me when I say that the second play through isn't going to be anywhere as scary as the first.

trust me, its a hell of a lot more fun when your swarmed with screaming corpses with your ammo draining away. definatly worth a rent at least ^^

I had to do a mad dash punching my way through fast slashers and got cornered after going up an elevator to escape with a cherub coming after me launching its darts, I was armed only with my stasis, which was drainging fast. I managed to melee a fast slasher to death and get only six plasma rounds, some how managed to kill the cherub and get pulse ammo. It was fucking intense, I couldn't believe I did it playing on impossible, I was SO sure I'd be stuck there forever!
