U can use any type of web cam. I recomend video cammeras with a picture taking function and a remote that way you can have higher quality pics, you dont have to touch the cammera [u can use the remote] and you dont have to be hooked up to a computer all the time u can just upload the pics later. I would recomend Monkeyjam for stopmotion videos. [it allows u to upload pics]

If you work on keeping the camera still more often, this would work a lot better. It's not too shabby, but work on the camera being still =p It jumped around too much on easy shots.

devilminister: im guessing take each picture put it in windows movie maker or sony vegas or adobe premiere and then cut them to like 0:00:07~0:00:05 and then it looks like it animates itself

anyways, that was great. Best fluidity of the stop animations on youtube i've seen. Great framerate and sequence. I liked the theme behind it too ^_^

Stop motion doesn't require that the camera remain stationary around it's field of vision, to create the illusion of items moving. I've seen some very good stop motion in which the camera is never in the same place twice. This film would have been a lot worse if it had a stationary camera. The shaking feel doesn't detract from the film at all.
