  • Nothing less from a player with such incredible reflexes and intuition as Mago. HOWEVER in my opinion this fight takes nothing away from dragonboy as he put up an incredible fight.

  • sagat never looked so gay...-_-"

  • announcer is about to die of bronchitis

  • Sagat is not by any means a cheat player.Even though he is extremely strong and has more stamina than most,he is very slow and is very vulnerable at close range from pressure.

  • fucking announcer always over-excited

  • Mago is great, Sagat is great.

On the other hand... Dragonboy has 78.68% win/loss ratio with a mid tier character.

Higher than Mago's 78.17%. Sure, Mago has more than double his matches made. But then again, considering the gigantic amount of matches they've done (thousands), it's quite irrelevant after a while. What matters is that Dragon Boy is the best Ken player in the world.

Mago is a brilliant player (specially in CvS2), but Sagat is a plain silly character. Great match though.

  • Mago is just 2 good. Hes Number 1!

  • Is it me or does this commentator sound almost identical to Hakans voice actor? He even speaks in the same dialect.

  • Mago is a beast

  • Not really he doesn't do anything special with sagat, he's just a broken character

  • nope basically"japanese > american"

  • GG.

  • awsum announcer

  • This announcer was so HYPE! I wish we had announcers like that out here.

  • we do arcade infinity and gyt gootecks and everyone

  • NASSSSSSSTy kara tiger uppercut at 1:35 dammmmmmmmmmn

  • Mago is the only one who can bull that bullshit.

    Mago is Magic. I swear.

  • Japanese players main one character almost exclusively. Not just because of tournament rules, but just because they can overcome any 'bad matchups' most of the time.

There are a few exceptions, like Momochi or Kindevu, but they just switched permanently, rather than pull them out for counterpicks at tournaments.

  • no, they both have 2 main characters. so do alot of other japanese players: dragon boy(4), ojisan(2), makkun(2), shinya (2)etc...

  • I love the commentator!!!!!

  • What a beast! *shakes head*

  • 1:35 was just crazy. Kara TU through a fireball

Man does sagat need a nerf.

  • thats bcuz magos playin sagat, of course the best players gonna look any char look broken.

  • Lol @ ppl sleeping on chaos

  • What a great commentator! Insane for sure.

  • how did Mago's Sagat get through Ken's fireball and uppercut Ken? The fireball isn't absorbed by FA... I know it's a kara-uppercut, but geez ...

  • Invincibility frames on the uppercut.

  • mago is on diffrent lvl

  • MAGOD

  • Hell yea, run it back!!

  • crazy

  • Run it back!

  • chaos sucks compared to dragon boy

he couldn't even get a round on Daigo

  • LoL @ this former KEn scrub turned Abel failure, stay in a scrubs place Sakiedo.

  • I'm just saying how it is. You are pretty good and all but do you seriously think you could hang with either of these guys?

  • yeah, hang for 10 seconds before getting murdered

  • lulz.

  • You just don't play against player like mago, so, how can you say you have the same level than DB ?

Playing against one of the top world player is different than playing against people online, dude.

  • When did I become an online player? Looking @ your youtube vids it seems that you are.

  • Indeed, even if the vids are kinda old.

Btw I'm not saying that I have the level of Tokido or K66.

What I'm saying is that you can't say that you have the same level, if you not play against people who have the level of DB opponents.

I guess you're living in USA or something like that, where the level is FAR behind the JP level, see what i mean ?

  • YJDK!

  • lol those vids arent old

& top american players r a month or 2 behind only, proven by sabin. theyre not as far behind as u believe them 2 be.

  • Dont be foolish, American players are way behind Japanese players iam sorry but its true, America has like 3 or 4 guys that could give close games to a few of the higher up Jap players but lets be realistic in a Japanese environment where counterpicking isnt allowed they wouldnt stand a chance, as much as i love J won and the crew they would get eaten up with no problem.

  • im not bein foolish, go watch sabin play vs the japanese, top americans r truly only a month or 2 behind bcuz he caught up 2 the japanese players & got a master ranking. the casual players r way behind but the top players arent.

  • Yep I agree, Sabien isn't that far from JP.

Maybe because hes playing against japaneses players since 2 month, don't you think ?

I mean JPs players aren't naturaly born better than other players, but they have a lot of tourney, everyweek.

Plus, they've a hudge arcade scene, which is the better place to improve his game.

The better is to wait SSF4, everybody is going to play the game at the same time.

  • Japan won't really play it until there's an arcade release though.

  • japan has 600+ Master ranked players.

and Master are far from Grandmasters.

Indeed American TOP players are good.

but they are just Master level. far from GM.

  • lol, o well thats just too bad.

  • @eroge don't use BP as a measure of player skill, especiall when the United States doesn't have the card system in their arcades.

  • Counter picking can happen, but the rules are 1 game and 1 character only tournaments. If they ran with the American format (2/3, any character), we'd have different results.

  • Top american players are a month or two behind high-mid-level JPN players. Arturo can't even beat Uryo in casuals, where the dude sandbags so bad you'd think he was preparing for a flood. Yeah, America's best can put up a fight, but most of, say, the BIG BOX grandmasters aren't going to really care. It sucks, but the skill level is just too great a leap. And even if it wasn't, the only way to level up is to come to Japan. US can't get better on their own, fact. Stop sipping that Sabin Kool-Aid.

  • ya thats exactly wat i mean, top american players r only a month or 2 behind hi-mid-level japanese players, but of course hes never gonna reach grandmaster level. thats wat i meant by 'top' americans bein only a month or 2 behind japanese competition.
