i thought he would do better. he had an amazing song,definitely above all others in quality and originality. Important to say that the festival wasn't broadcasted live in serbia, only via website, so he received very few votes, I'm sure that if it was live he would get much more pts. as he has a big fan base in serbia now, at least the press was writing a lot about him so he had a good promotion.
Thanks a lot! 7th place out of 34-36(?) is actualy not bad at all. I didn't think he'll win, cause he relies only on his wonderful voice. All the other stuff (lack of show, dancers, fireworks, a catchy song) are against him.

he finished 7th.
i thought he would do better. he had an amazing song,definitely above all others in quality and originality. Important to say that the festival wasn't broadcasted live in serbia, only via website, so he received very few votes, I'm sure that if it was live he would get much more pts. as he has a big fan base in serbia now, at least the press was writing a lot about him so he had a good promotion.

Thanks a lot! 7th place out of 34-36(?) is actualy not bad at all. I didn't think he'll win, cause he relies only on his wonderful voice. All the other stuff (lack of show, dancers, fireworks, a catchy song) are against him.
Many people are not really looking for quality.

It's amazing how people can be so blind and deaf. "To be an artist is to be misunderstood."
Maybe the slower and simpler version - say just acapella - would have stood out more from the rest? Perhaps? But who's to tell. If people are stupid, it won't help even if you stood on your head.
