i guess you are right, but it's a good start. besides, if you are rich enough you can either buy the original or buy an extremely high end pc and emulate it. NEITHER of which i can do! lol. I do have the original PCB of Daytona USA to the Maxx, TURBO edition and original 1994. I have dumped them to .zip and they can be played on the sega model 2 emu or MAME
Which version of MAME will run it? None cause i just checked. Sound and 2D background plays, and no 3D objects.... Runs near perfect on Nebula though ;)
i prefer playing the original because on nebula there are invisible walls that appear on tight banked curves, and the analog wraparound bug which is annoying e.g. Make a full turn right and suddenly you would go left! They are trying to sort it but is proving difficult
Analog wrap around can be very easily fixed mate, and the walls are a constant, so you can avoid them pretty easily. Get DX Tweak 2 and make some adjustments to the right control and the wrap around is gone.
will do, thanks. The walls make getting good times difficult, so I use my original for times, I found the old nebulAM2 geometrizer thingy to work better for colours than the new geometrizer.
Daytona Usa 2 is a classic, Even the Rocking Roll snog Track Is soo Good listen to,while racing too!!.
