Video Tours Hilton Papagayo Resort Costa Rica

Tried going here today with friends & was turned away at the gate. Not able to even tour campus to see if it is a place I might stay in the future. Getting to the resort we found it completely out of the way for other fun activities and the holes in the road leave much to be desired (but were much better than Tamarindo's local road). The joke in our carpool is this Hilton hotel is where you go to get away from everyone since you are in the middle of nowhere & no one from outside can visit.

we had a great time here...we did find one little spider in the room one night, but thats to be expected as your room is on the edge of the forest...it is a nice relaxing, clean place...sure there are not alot of activities at night, which was perfect after coming home from tours...we thought the food was excellent...overall we were happy with our stay here and would go back...

We had a bad experience with Hilton Papagayo resort in Costa rica,It is not like what you see in the video,The beach sand is black and rocky you cannot swim there,The room was full of bugs and spiders we had to call the front desk everyday to come and spray,The food is OK.There are NO ACTIVITIES at night NOTHING!! I had a bad vacation.we met people from Riu and Marriott during the excursions They said their hotels were amazing.I do not recommend Hilton papayago to anybody.

Loved our stay there. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Oceans views are amaziing.
