lol ive got also 3 of them for an week. their lost their mother in storm. but one week later the duck mother was in our garden! alive! so we let them go (of course)! and when you hold them in a hand and pet them than they begin to sleep. thats SOO SWEET

Ducklings usually eat so much that they become imbalanced, with too heavy front/chest part, and unable to walk. So nobody can possibly force a duckling to overeat. As someone who for many years had ducks at home as pet, I can vouch for this fact.

look it up! i got special food for mine and changed it as they grew up. as a treat every once in awhile i gave them shredded carrots in water. they loved it haha i just used a potatoe peeler ona carrot and made sure they were thinn and they slurpped it up

Well when it grows up, you can tell by the butt feathers, if one feather curls up, its a boy, and if the feathers dont curl its a girl. Trust me i would know. I used to have millions of ducks, and other animals, luckily i never lived on a farm they lived outside of my house :). people would come to see them all the time!

Why are you trying to force him to stay eating or perhaps a cold marble table just for your camera? Well I was told to feed mine on chick grubs for the first 8 weeks and then build them up to chicken feed pellets, throw in some fish food pellets every now and again and some bugs for good measure. If you are letting them run loose in a garden they will pretty much feed themselves if you have good soil and plenty of worms
