@i use a grip similar on one of my AR's.. but I never hold it like that. I just use the grip more as a reference point so my hand placement is consistent each and everytime I shoot the rifle.

Sylmar, you mean Angeles? About 4 years ago LAPD had someone in plain clothes walking around up there looking for people shooting high cap mags and would stop you as soon as you hit the highway. The range officers were pretty cool and would let you know when they were around.

@SirGlockALott best thing u can do is to cap ur mag off by using a screw but drill out the front and back so that when you go out of state ucan just simply take out the screw or when you are done shooting at the range disassemble ur mag then you wont have a high cap mag on ur hands but a mag kit (not illegal)

@SirGlockALott Then Dont stress lol But always keep a copy of your receipt with you shooting... Maybe in a tiny zip log bag even inside of the magazine so they are never separated (The copy that is) The last thing any one would want is to spend a night in coustudy at a jail house...

@weerd2normal: I don’t want to offend anyone, but using a scope is much easier for most. I feel more challenged when using iron sights. Love hitting targets way out there with my irons. Recently went out to A Place To Shoot Shooting Range and was hitting a metal silhouette at 400 yards with my M4 irons pretty easily. I forgot my camera that day, was very upset. I will take some video next time I go.

@Genes1sOo listen buddy just because its popular doesn't mean its the best. the m4 weighs a lot less, has higher velocity, meaning longer range. the only good thing about ak47 is the reliabilty. everything else is bad. the recoil kicks like a mule and its heavy

@SirGlockALott I must say the the german brands almost passed all other brands. An HK416 is a good example. Has a good stopping power its accurate and its durable.But colt doesnt realy seem to release anymore. Colt is so self assured that now it cant catch up with many weapons. US army paid 32 mil $ for some projects but they havent got released. Why pay so much and quit so fast?

@bearsfan1294 Thats right! Same round = Same recoil. But you know that design changes things a lot right? The Nikonov AN94 Abakan is a great example of it! Because of its movable barrel it reduces a lot of recoil caused by the 5.56x45 mm round... You know what i mean.

I am also glad I was able to buy hi-cap mags before the ban and get a permit with DOJ to own my assault weapons.
They do allow rapid fire. Well, when I started rapid firing a couple of range officials looked my way, but that was it. You also cannot shoot anything on the ground within a 100 yards.

@andayy Yeah this law caused me to move out of my home state of CA. unfortunatley they know dam well the AWB doesnt stop crime, thats not they goal, the goal is to harass law abiding gun owners into not owing guns anymore, basically legistlate us out of existance. Its disgusting, the traitors should all hang, hopefully one day this gets reversed if the 2nd is ever incorporated in CA, then I can move back :)
