Love this guy. Incredible songwriter, great guitar player and carried on the long and proud tradition of C&W pill poppers. Not much of a country fan but Gibson transcends genres like Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, the Carter Family -- hell, too many to mention. Maybe I'm a country fan after all. I definitely would be if they were all as cool and talented as Gibson.

Don Gibson: Genius. To have had a voice like that and to have wrote all those fantastic songs. My late brother and I would sometimes sing the Everly`s version, in harmony, key of G with the drop down chord of F. This would be in the early 60s.
