love this song, but cannot find the album which contains it. Clifford wrote such an immense number of wonderfully thought provoking songs with such feeling, and this was played AGAIN this week by Ken Bruce. Please can anyone tell me the name of the album if known. Many thanks. Love all his songs.x
@gillwilkinsongw Ocean of Love by Clifford T. Ward is not on the Anthology CD I have, but you can find it on 'Change of Heart' (Spotify and Amazon). I haven't heard this since the days of crackly vinyl.
As Another writer says Ken Bruce plays some real gems on his show, heard this the other day for the first time thanks to Ken. This is a lovely lovely song.
Thank you so much for posting this video to one of my favourite ( they're all my favourites!) Clifford T Ward song. What a way with words this fellow had, every song a complete charmer. They ought to put his work on the school curriculum , he so merits it. Love you always Cliff. x
@Littlealan1959 Thanks for your comment. Clifford was unique, but was often uncomfortable performing live, which is a pity because millions more would have heard and appreciated his fabulous music. You're right - it will live forever, and I often sing his songs myself when I get the chance. People love his music when introduced to it.
Thank you rocazino56 - very pleased you enjoyed it.
'Waves' is certainly an excellent album. If you are a big fan of Cliff, I recommend 'Anthology' on CD - it's an amazing collection of his music and shows the diversity of a true genius.

Ken Bruce played this today on BBC Radio 2. He plays some real gems, and I had never heard this before. This is a really nice tune.

Fantastic song. It's just as good as the first (and only) time I heard it on the Danish radio in 1977. Still got the Album!
