I like this Movie because he Will Kane as played by Gary Cooper had show bravery,and a willingness to face men trying to kill him.True he was techinecally no longer the town Marshal,but he still feels that it is his duty to face those criminals.That is what I personally admire in any Human Being.The only thing that I hated about this Movie is the outright cowarddice of the Towns people.With three exceptions: a young man,a town drunk,and Kane's wife who at the last moment runs to his side.

However, the script and the characters portray exactly the way of the world...evil is recognized by the masses but no one has the guts to confront it and stand up to it.
