As for my comments about sounding like a tribute band......they do not sound like the Searchers when they had all the hits because Spencer James sounds nothing like Mike Pender, hence tribute band.
I've seen them live 3 times - they are superb - they know how to play and how to work an audience - if you like the 60's you cannot beat them. As to sounding like a tribute band - you are entitled to your opinion - its not one I agree with. This is obviously amateur footage & the sound quality reflects that. The medley they play here encompasses a string of top ten Hits that I doubt most current bands could boast. They are excellent in my opinion
