hey david, bro lovin ur tracks since i first heard you with sushi on anjuabeats vol.8

im a hip hop producer but i use a lot of trance influence and am starting my own alias just for trance and dance/house progressive etc. I work out of logic 9 and have some external plug ins plus a roland synth. I was just wondering if you would have any tips on good trance AU/VSTs? or like what the best virtual instruments are for dance production. At the time i can't get a Virus or Prophet so yea, thanks :)

Mr .Skies I have 1 small quesion please.... in each bar do you trance guys use the exact same hit for each kick, clap and hat? For example is the clap identical on the 2 and 4 beat... or does it have a small change somehow (velocity, eq, whatever)?

i have to say, i have listened to all or most of the other remixes of Sun and Moon but out of all them, the orginal A&B and your remix is the best one out of the lot. i could not stand that 'dirty house dubstep' remix to the point i could not listen to it and i still wonder how or why that one was released..... what kind of effects processors do you use what do you think about liquid mix? On pads do you usually do chords that go with the bass? Been making music for 3 years almost got a song done want to submit to Coldhabour cant seem to get the song polished enough though having problems with structure as well . Thnx

Hey David! Cool blog man. However, I see that when you solo an instrument track, the color of the midi/audio region also turns yellow, like the solo button itself. How do you do this? It's not standard in Logic is it?

@Tr4nce1984 didn't really understand what you mean, but I think the answer to your question is "

Select any region and press S this will solo that selected region without you having to press any button, press S again to get back to normal

@7Skiestv Yo David. I know that when you press S, the region will play solo. However, in your video, when you solo something, the color of that region becomes yellow. You know, the color you see when you hit the solo button? However, I figured it out :) If you use the Solo tool in the transport bar, and then solo regions, the color of that region gets yellow as well. That doesn't happen when you press S. Hope you understand. Cheers.
