Do not buy a BCD-2000. The configuration I've done is cool because i've work quite a lot on it. I work in computer engineering and I like this kind of things... but out of the box, the BCD-2000 sucks. Anyway, if you have a limited budget, you should go for the BCD-3000, but not 3000. How do you want to mix? If you want a device with both the decks and the mixer controlls go for a Vestak VCI or an M-Autio Torq exponent. If you will use an external mixer, fo for an EKS Otus or a Stanton CSC.1d.

i share your opinion: DO NOT BUY BCD-2000, it really sucks and there is practicaly no support by BEHRINGER, which is very sad.

i own a BCD-2000 since 2 years, but most of the time I can't use it, because there are some major issues, bluescreens, etc.

i don't know about BCD-3000, maybe it is a little bit better, i heard so many times, so let's take that as a fact.

Hola. Uso las dos salidas que tiene la BCD: una de las salidas es de output, que está detrás de la BCD. La otra es la de phones.

Para poder hacer esto tienes que abrir la ventana que te sale pinchando en el icono de la BCD en el area de notificaciones de windows, y seleccionando el modo de funcionamiento "advanced", o algo así... Activando este modo puedes usar la salida de output y la phones de la BCD como si se tratasen de dos salidas de audio stereo independientes.

why do you use crossfader at the other mixer? BCD2000 has a crossfader on it

Because the point of this all is to use the BCD as the module wich controls the transport (play, pause, cue, scratching, seeking... the things you do with the decks) and an external mixing dor mixing the tracks. In fact, I dont use the crossfader as a crossfader, but as a way to setting up the intensity of the scratchs and the seeking function (I use as a "gauge" controll).

Did Anyone tried to use the traktor sratch vynils with the BCD2000 as the inputs? I`m planning to buy the vynils but i son`t know if it will work...

I've ran tables through the BCD, literally just past them through the BCD and not through the software. I would be fine for home but noise passes through the signal and the volume is very low so you have to turn the volume up which in turn makes the noise passing through even louder. Its OK for home but would not recommend doing a gig that way. If your gonna run traktor scratch it comes with the audio 8 card so use that.

does anyone know if the downloadable MIDI .tks file for traktor works with the 3000 as well as the 2000? everyone seems to think they're practically the same thing with a few bugs worked out, so odds on it will, but i'd rather be sure before buying one.

I spent ages writing out my own presets for the hercules mp3 controller but now i want a bcd 3000 and if i can use it the way you use that 2000, my setup would be PERFECT.

I don't know the diffences between the bcd 2000 and the 3000. However, realize that this mappings are made in two parts: the rules that MIDI Rules uses, and the mappings in traktor (the tks file). So, if you want to make it work in the Hercules console, you could fit to the same mappings (tks file), but, since the original MIDI signals that the Hercules console will be different than the BCD, you'll have to rewrite the MIDI rules set...

1. jog wheels do not work in Traktor 3

2. yesterday this problem was not there:

when I turn the MID EQ from deck A, the pitch fader from Deck B is moving also little bit.

Maybe you have special drivers or a firmware upgrade for the BCD.

Hi. The leds should works. Perhaps, when you initialize MIDI rules, you are assigning the wrong MIDI channels... review the documentation and try again... I assure you the leds do work.

I think it does'nt... I think there is no driver for the BCD in Mac. However, the BCD3000 has. I don't know if my solution will work with the BCD3000

I use an external sound card, but I did tried once to use the one integrated with the BCD2000 and there were no latencies at all.

your BCD2000 looks different than mine, mine doesn´t have the yellow triangle in the top of the unit, the PLAY/PAUSE and CUE buttons in the decks are located a little farther apart from each other, and the white lines printed on the unit (that groups certain kinds of knobs together) are distributed differently. Where in the globe are you? I was just wondering if you have an asian version of BCD-2000 or something, any ideas?

Psychologik. I'm Spanish and I've got the standart BCD2000. It looks different because I made a template with the mappings I assigned and "skinned" the BCD with it.

In that video I use and external soundcard.

Anyway, you can use the BCD as a soundcard with two outputs. Although it only has one master output, you can use the headphones output as a second output. To do so, you have to click on the icon shown on the tray icon (i'm talking about windows), and select the option that enables to use the BCD2000 audio interface as a soundcard with two outputs, (headphones and main).

Surely the point of this unit is to not need an external mixer? Does the cross fader etc not function with this software?

Ok, coluld be, but since I prefer something nearer to the classical setup, I wanted to use my mixer. I just wanted to make the BCD something to control the decks, and keep mixing on the mixer. The BCD2000 has some problems when used with traktor3 (leds, scracrh), but the xfader and knobs can be used with no problems.
