Hey, I'm wondering how do you set up a game with a friend? Do you have to be in the same room because we tried setting up a game but nothing came up and we really have no clue how to set up a game together.

Do you have to play against eachother or can you both form an alliance and conquer the world together?

@ILikeSquirrelsYo In order to play online with a friend it's a bit more involving... at first.. me and anden had problems with this.. but then i did some searching and found out that you needed a custom patch in order for it to work with multiplayer... however keep in mind that me and anden got the game from steam which have had some problems with multiplayer so even i am not sure what's going on with paradox...

the patch we had was patch 5.1 beta and the codename was GALN

@MrJokey16 I'm not sure if you can get a tech lab... but you just invest more money on the slider for whatever field of research you wish to study in :)
