Henry, Your new video is excellent. I am posting it to my web group because I want others to hear your philosophy of learning and expanding one's art views in life.
Keep doing your work. Teacher Chen of China , your father, and your whole family must be very proud of you. Barbara
Your work is so inspirational and i am really looking forward to the upcoming online class, especially when there are no Chinese art courses in my area. Thanks for sharing your story also.
Thank you for sharing this with us Henry! We are so lucky to hear your story and to learn about the meaning in your art. A truly inspiring video for everyone.
@rosesonmytable Zinnia, thank you for inviting me to teach at Artfulgathering 2011 online workshops! I am so excited to produce my teaching videos as you can tell from this intro video. I just did my Lesson One last night on painting orchid, chicks and blue heron, and really enjoyed doing it.
Thank you so much for this, Henry. I am so glad that your teacher was able to continue his work despite the pain and horrible limitations of the cultural revolution, and that your father met him (despite the awful circumstances), and you were able to learn from him. And that now you carry on the beauty and inspiration of Chinese painting and share it with us.
I am so looking forward to your class. You are a wonderful teacher, I hope many people from all over the world will join the class.
This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your inspirations, and your light. You bring a very important gift to us, and I am very grateful for this. Peace and Good :0)
This is such a great inspiration to all artists around the globe. I can already see that the people who have watched this video will surely join your online classes. It is very nice of you to have shared your lifes story in such a professional manner. Your video is edited greatly and your metaphores and explanations harvest great pride to your work.
I am sure that master Chen would be proud of your work.
Thank you, I love your Herronarts videos very much. I have a talent at painting with American watercolor but someday I will acquire all of the tools necessary to try painting on the front and back of rice paper. I need more space than I have now or an easel to take it outdoors, probably to Lake Merritt, Oakland, CA.
