I was sorry to hear of Paul's passing because I never really knew who Focal point were until I came across his company website( Regent st productions) in which it mentioned they were the first band to be signed by The Beatles lable and me being a Badfinger fan whom I thought was the first Band signed by Apple emailed him and he kindly replied "Focal Point were signed to Apple Publishing in September 1967, a year before Apple Records existed
