It is without a doubt a turkey vulture. I see them everyday. I also have to correct ignorant fuckers who tell me they saw twenty "hawks" circling above them. Vultures can be very large, and if you misjudge their altitude they can look the size of a small plane. The shadows they cast are extremely large also. A few months ago, a flock of them landed in some pine trees in my parent's back yard when I was visiting & the birds were so huge, the tree limbs were bending. now that i look at the footage again, it was close to the trees and didnt have a very large size in comparison. it could have been some kind of eagle or vulture, but not a 20 foot thunderbird. if it is prooved to be anything different beacause of its shape, it could have been a baby.
