@codkawasaki I don't know if it was nerves or a lack of practice. They probably go hand in hand. This track is in Roanoke Tx. Their website is tmxpark.com
@joshyzfast11 Well, the bike started it's life out as a 2007 but he broke the frame. We had another frame from an '02 yz85 that we swapped all of his stuff to. So, by vin number it's a 2002, but everything else is '07. The bikes have been the same from 2002 to present with the exception of cosmetic changes. (graphics, plastic colors etc.)
Yes, we know Ethan ran off the track twice.... He only had one and a half practice laps so this was really his practice laps. He actually had to forfeit his first race (supermini class) as we worked on rigging up his exhaust.
Ok haha now I have another question. I hit a pretty huge double at our local sx track. It was like 45 feet and I landed on top of it and bounced off. What should I do to my suspension so I don't bounce?
@motocross223Tanner Really the easiest thing to do is clear the jump. If you're bouncing you're not clearing the jump. Watch the video at 6:41 and you will see Ethan attempt (and miss) a 90ft jump. A local track rider called it a quad but it's really a double then table. Ethan jumped it about 75feet and if you watch his shadow you will see him pay. Get your suspension worked on by a reputable shop (FCR, JMRacing, Suspension Dynamics etc.) is the best way to go.
@jeffster11 Yeah its kind of hard to clear because most 80's are landin on it because it's a triple thats pertty hard to clear right before it. As far as shops go should I just take it into a local yamaha dealer and have them dial in my suspension for me?
@motocross223Tanner Dealership probably won't be able to help tune your suspension. Google motocross suspension tuning or send your gear to a suspension tuner. It takes a specialist and/or trial and error to tune suspension. We use FCR suspension. Kinda pricey but worth it.
When is Ethan getting a 125?
