Scott was not kicked out. He left because Mark and Tom were accusing him of being an alcoholic. Blink-182 broke up because Tom, being an emo kid at heart, wanted to write emotional music, and did not like the funny, enjoyable, mess around image of Blink-182. So Tom just sort of stopped talking to Mark and Travis and corresponded with them through his manager. So they broke up and formed their separate bands. The Carousel starting with just the bass solo was on Budha, and the other on Chesh. Cat.

Scott would never do the fills that Travis does and in the interlude with the little snare drum line was clearly Travis.

Scott was part of the recording of the demo for Enema of the State (1998). Later in the year, he was kicked out for alcoholism and Travis took over and was part of the studio recording for Enema of the State. There's even video of Scott playing for the song Mutt as a demo release in 1998. Mutt was on Enema of the State.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to record, edit, and plan a record? not enough time for them to record a second demo, that's for sure. Look at the current album, it's taken them 2 years, and they still aren't going to release it for 4 or 5 months, they just got done recording after 9 months, now they're talking over the budget, the release date, events, etc. It takes time, something blink didn't have to waste in 1998/1999.

no, no, no. the greatest hits was made after they broke up. Blink broke up in early 2005, as the Greatest Hits was released November 1, 2005. there are two versions of Dammit that i know of. there is also two versions of Carousel. one with the guitar in the beginning and one with straight bass. the only differences i know for Dammit is in the guitar intro the snare starts on the 1 on 6th bar playing in eighth notes. the other one is just pure guitar.

Yes, well personally If Blink ever makes it into the rock Hall of Fame i don't think Scott deserves a big chunk. the only song that Blink made that was really popular when Scott was in the band was Dammit. They also had Carousel, M+M's and Josie. but those aren't the most popular songs.

When Travis joined they became HUGE and i mean HUGE they were literally the best/most popular band in the world from 1998 - 2001. All because of Travis and his great song ideas contributing to Blink.

no the greatest hits was released November 1 2005 after they split up in early 2005. i am not sure why there is two versions... but there is also two versions of Carousel. one with guitar and bass in the beginning and one starting out with just bass. for Josie i have never heard any two different versions. For Dammit though the music video and greatest hits starts with the snare going in 8th notes one the 6th bar but the album version is just straight guitar.
