Im about where u are. All I can say is EADGC learn thoes 5 cords and practice them till ur fingers are sore and hurt! play them in different sequences and say them out loud. First be able to maneuver through them quickly then strumming and picking up the beginner songs gets a little easier. start slow, gentle hear every string and build up. more cords u have a grasp of easier videos are. Not what I wanted to hear but It helps. pound thoes cords build calluses. scaleshelp to g luck

When I got my guitar.. last year.. My mom said I wasted money cause I couldn't play.. now I found marty. I'm a beginner.. but i'm getting much better everytime. I've struggled with afew Chords but it gets easy when you keep playing them. For all people who need capos: you can easily make one out of a pencil and rubber bands. Put the pencil over the fret you need and secure it tightly with rubber bands.

@TheOriginalJanina Just play it in regular C major without a capo. It'll just be lower in key, like the slow mo parts in the video :) A cheap capo is a really handy piece of equipment though.

The chords will still be right without a capo, but the sound will be lower than in the original. Should still be fine though. (:

Take the root note of the capo-d fret, take the capo off, and figure out that note in relation to the zero fret. I doubt you understand, so I'll just tell you the chords. It took me about 3 minutes... Verse: C minor, Bb. Chorus: Eb, Bb, C minor, Ab. Ahhh, amazing things happen when you think. Thumbs up for people to see.
