If you read though the genesis creation story (and take it literally) Then this is exactly what happened. Adam and Eve were put in a situation that they were not prepared for. They had to deal with moral decisions, yet had no concept of good and evil.

It says that it was desirable for gaining wisdom. And it points out that after they ate it their eyes were opened to the knowledge.

Entropy has to do with thermodynamics, being that in an isolated environment all energy either remains constant or increases. It also explains that heat energy tends to travel from an area of high temperature to an area of low temperature.
