It's not about the country of origin (this is Bulgarian, or at least originates in Romanian Dobrogea...) It's very primitive, superficial and comically exploitive. It's worthless as any type of folklore and really silly as "Jazz". Folklore musicians feel the need to cross over to "Jazz" too, with usually equally poor results...
