Nice work. What made Nights In White Satin really stand out was the Moody Blues used a Mellotron , which really gives that signature late 60's-early 70's sound. I've seen people try to duplicate that late 60's Mellotron sound with modern keyboard synthesizers and it just doesn't sound the same. One of the reasons why I love old music from 50 and 40 years ago, today's modern instruments and especially recording equipment just sound different and almost impossible to duplicate.
Sure. I had to look to see which one it was... That's my Taylor 810. Nice guitar. My first new high end guitar. Taylors play like a dream, but have a tendancy to crack in the winter. They build them as though we all live in rain forests :o) The other cases in that room are for my Martin (which I got when my Taylor 955 cracked) and one of my Les Pauls. Things go in the cases not because of some honor, but just because I had three of those cases made.
That's almost eery! LOL. Just got in from clearing a foot of snow off my huge dirveway in CT. Good job. First time I heard this live was in New Haven Colliseum. Great band. Great tune. Thanks for the tutorial.

In the second to last 3-note figure you're only playing one note. The missing 2 notes add a lot to the melody, IMHO.

yeah thanks for not taking us though the solo in little segments or note by note.

Can you tell us about the guitar in the glass case behind you? Nice effect with the GT-6.

hey Steve,
since you've done a great job on some Graham Nash songs, any chance you could do Lady Of The Island? Do you know if it is in an altenate tuning?
p.s. I have really enjoyed your videos.
Keep It Up!
