  • Damn he drop a $1500 guitar . Good thing i have insurance on my new guitar

  • Always use the original screws if you can. That will ensure the best and safest fit!

  • great, now i have to but straplocks AND a toolkit

  • Great video. Next time, show the cat!

  • Just ONE of those can hold up the entire guitar?! Skepticism = Completely obliterated

  • Great Tutorial, Just got soem Black Schallers, I feel so much more confident with bouncing around knowing that the straps are not coming off! :L

  • One question:

Is it ok to use the original screws that came with my Fender? They fit fine with the Schaller strap lock buttons. I'm just afraid of using the Schaller screws because they are a tiny bit bigger than the original Fender screws.

  • I like that guitar strap i wonder where he got it from =/.. any suggestion??

  • men allways destracted by pussy.

  • I love my Epiphone les paul custom to death \m/

  • Wow ! How can you screw/unscrew so fast !? ;-))

    BTW great tutorial, thanks !

  • that's the coolest screw driver i've ever seen

  • Stevie Ray Vaughan strap!

  • Ah the man has taste, a Hagstrom Guitar! Thanks for the instructions.

  • thats a sweet screw driver

  • really good video, the only problem sometimes is if they provide different sized screws, but take it to a pro

  • your cat graced me wit her presence...

  • is there anyway to put it without removing the original "strap buttons"?

  • @nun1nh0Productions No, you have to remove them so there is a little hole on your guitar, which is where you're gonna put half of the strap lock.

  • I have a Gibson Les Paul standard and I love this guitar I was playing with some freinds during rehearsal and my guitar strap came right off luckily I caught it but it only took once for me to learn my lesson so I bought straplocks and there great so issues at all I can head bang jump around and go nuts and I don't haft go worry about my guitar falling off my neck so it's well worth it

  • my strap came loose on my Gibson Custom es-339 just before playing live, and it fell and cracked the jack into the guitar. i was just about to put on strap locks too.

  • 6:59 when i put them together they dont match! wtf! :(

  • Dude, cool vids, but you should make close up scenes, cuz if you were holding a penny or the straplock we could not tell de difference, Just a sugestion!!

  • My mate said he couldnt be bothered buying strap locks, even thought he is a rich bastard, so I found it hillarious when his £2000 LP fell and snapped the headstock practicing before the gig, he then had to run down to the nearest guitar shop and buy a brand new guitar, they only had epiphones and he hated it. after all that it could have been saved by a measely £14.90 I think he has learnt his lesson now ;)

  • @ravenshield56 Its a sad story, but happens far too often....

  • @ravenshield56 Your friend sounds like an elitist. Epiphones aren't that bad, I rather like them and If you are in a dire need of a guitar then you have to take what you can get. What was he, afraid someone was gonna see him play a guitar that costs under £1000?

  • @HaistaPaska92 I agree, I think he is a total prick hahah, epiphones are really great, you just got to get the right ones, some can be utter shite though

  • Comment removed

  • @ravenshield56 Why he hates epiphone? :OO

  • @Filomen7 hes a nobhead :P

  • @ravenshield56 I'm not from english talking country and my english is not so good. Please can you say nobhead some different ?

  • @Filomen7 Hmm, Idiot? Faggot? prick? twat? cunt? fucker? the list goes on...

  • @ravenshield56 Thanks i mean he is some one of that things :D :D

  • @ravenshield56 haha, damn... ran to nearest store ?

cant tell if troll or just stupid :D

  • @EDDIEVEDDERISTHEKING Naa man, in my town there is something called the pyriamid parr hall in warrington, and just up the road there is a dawsons :)

  • the screw hole in my BC rich is too big for the screw in the strap lock, what should I do to fix it?

  • @jesus21228 One trick you can use is to break up some wooden toothpicks, then jam them into the hole with some wood glue. Let it all set and then you can put the screw back in.

  • @GuitarTipsWeekly luckly I've got a bunch of toothpicks laying around lol. Thanks

  • Can you put lock straps on any ol guitar?

Do ya need a special guitar strap?

  • @Metallicaforever95 you can put them on most guitars, but not all. If you're not sure, get it checked out by a guitar technician. Any strap at all should work fine.

  • @GuitarTipsWeekly are epiphone les pauls ok?

  • @123mesayhi Sure - those are good guitars...

  • I'll get 2 for christmas!!! Can't wait!!!

  • It's not that simple.thats a cheap copy guitar so the thinner supplied screw will fit,but with a proper gibson or fender you need to doctor the screw when putting it back.one way is to use a tooth pick to add purchase and superglue for threadlock.other guys have different tips for other models but it's not as casual as this if you want make sure you're 15 or 16 hundred bucks doesnt hit the bricks.I wouldnt recomend ya buddy..........

  • This really help me, thanx man,

  • what guitar is that?

  • @theEddievanhalen It's a Hagstrom guitar

  • close ups would've been cool, but this was a good video regardless. Nice work with the tutorial

  • cool video. very helpful. I was wondering if this strap locks (Schaller) works with Epiphone Les Paul? I have heard many talking about how the screw does not match the original hole...... I wish you did the video on how to fix that problem?

Also, which is better Schaller vs Dunlup double stracplock ??

  • @urkingod I don't have any experience installing these on an Epiphone, so I can't really give you a good answer on that.

Personally, I prefer the Schaller strap locks over everything else on the market...

  • @GuitarTipsWeekly so you dont reccomend the Dimarzio's

  • mine fell the other week and luckily it was ok but the clip on tuner was on it at the time and got smashed to smithereens . Hence why im looking at videos about straplocks . I love your lessons by the way mate .

  • HAHAHA shit u cn tighten those screws fast!!, thx man awesome vid
