  • I remember this match well. It was a refreshing change to see a this calibre of a match being won by the gradual wear down of an opponent rather than by some sly pin out of nowhere or screw job. It really surprised me. It really didn't make EQ look bad either because he got injured on the guard rail.

  • i remember all of this. jimmys tag teams were all pissed over who got the title shot

  • I can't believe they never had a Money Inc.-Nasty Boys Tag Title match that was on TV or PPV. I heard they just had a bunch of house shows. Nasty Boys showed later on that they can be a good face tag team that the fans could like, I think Vince dropped the ball on having Nasty Boys win Tag Titles as a face, and dropped a Royal Rumble 93 match between these teams.

  • Does anybody have the match where Money Inc beat the Legion of doom? it worked in hindsight but I think Money Inc were thrown together at the time to get the straps off Legion of Doom cause they (well Hawk at least) got into trouble with Vince regarding drugs. They went from tag champs at Royal Rumble to simply bringing in Ellering at Wrestlemania.

  • @Bull1908 I think that was a house show. If I'm not mistaken, those events weren't taped.

  • @azariah15 It was on Wrestling Challenge. I remember it well..

  • LOL everybody had a mullet back then. lol

  • i dont think the crowd knew they were allowed to be excited?

  • @Rossk

If you had any idea how long the tapings ran back in those days, you would understand why the crowd was probably tired.

  • Me and my buddies were on tv sitting in the front row...on tv on your post lol....remember watching this after on saturday morning wrestling for like 5 weeks in a row....the night before bret hart who is the best there is was and ever will be won the championship in saskatoon and this match was for tag team belts in my hometown best city in the world......REGINA SASKATCHEWAN!!!

  • PITY CITY! LMAO

  • Money, Inc. got attacked before the match and still won the titles cleanly. This match really made the Disasters look like shit.

  • @Edgehead10075 You're right. It made no sense to me.

  • @Edgehead10075 This is usually the type of scenario that happens to the faces not the heels, this match definetly killed the buzz for the Natural Disasters in the eyes of the fans. Now they wanted to see the Nasty Boys as faces, take on Money Inc for the titles and hopefully win it. Too bad, they never gave them a PPV title shot of any kind.

  • Yeah. The Nasty Boys' buzz got killed by the Steiner Bros. coming in and Hulk coming back with Beefcake. Not a big surprise that the Disasters disbanded shortly after this and that the Nasty Boys left for WCW.

  • @Edgehead10075 Well, the original plan was to have the Nasty Boys vs. Money Inc. for the gold at WrestleMania IX. But that all went down the toilet thanks to both Hogan's politics, and the arrival of the Steiners in the WWF.

The whole thing is sort of ironic, as it was just two years earlier that the Nasties jumped from WCW and screwed up the scheduled push of Power & Glory heading into WrestleMania VII, so in a way, this was a taste of their own medicine.

  • What the Hell is Typhoon doing? Why's he just standing there on the apron waiting for the tag while Earthquake is in the sleeper/Million Dollar Dream. He should've come in and made the save.

  • Because this was back when you actually had to tag your partner to enter the ring, you know not 2009 where anyone can just jump in a ring and nobody gets disqualified

  • @JoeCool247365 what years was the mullet popular between?

  • Wow, the WWE actually had a tag division, I am freakin shocked

  • great upload thanks

  • Very good match rember watching it when I was about 6 years old. October 1992 if I'm not mistaken. Always rember it for Earthquake passing out.

  • I remember seeing this on German TV, I couldn't believe they'd make Earthquake pass out on the Million $ Dream.

  • I remember watching this live. Damn I miss The Million Dollar Man. Top notch entertainment.
