funny - i just tried kisu too. really amazing stuff. i took it when i was run down and was just feeling that annoying tingle. i didn't get a cold sore! i got it at kisuhealthylips online. worth every penny.

i used to do that stuff too, but if u use kisu you won't have to do this. u can order online. u take 2 pills, 2 times a day for 2 days and then it reduces healing time and can even prevent it if u take it at that first tingle. u won't have to go through this anymore. seriously.

@idrobyn well for me it was about 3 to 4 days i added the salt and stuff to dry it out but after it will become worse before it gets better but for me it heals quicker and goes away faster then after always apply somesort of blam like carmex or vaseline. :) if you add the salt then for me mine went away in less then a week. if you dont dry it out it can take up to weeks!

ice is the best when you feel the cold sore coming.. i've killed many, many cold sores right away by putting ice directly on it (no bag). i think if you don't get to it in time, you might make it huge...... happened to me once :/

u never put ICE on cold sore seriously it gets worse and swollen as u can see in the video ..and u dont want that... what u can do is put some lemmon juice three times a day and ur gonna get rid of that shit fast...........

@julianamun yes, because if you leave the salt on for 2 long it can really sting and bother the cold sore. when it starts to dry and itch that means its healing.

You can kick cold sore easily with following:

1) DermaSeptic Skin Cure - for days 2 - 8+ (get it from amazon.com) You can start using this at soreness stage.

2) Zovirax ( Acyclovir) Cream 5% - Apply 4 times

3) Valacyclovir 500 MG Tab - 3 times a day

4) Lysine Tab - 1 times a day

Please ask your doctor for 2,3, 4 prescriptions.

You can use DermaSeptic if you see soreness, then wait 5 mins, clean your lips again, and apply Zovirax. Make sure you apply 3 days more even sore fades away.

ALWAYS wash your hands before and after touching your coldsore, wash your pillow cases each night.. keep coldsore dry as possible dont lick your lips.. if the coldsore breaks open it will take 5-7 days to heal.. if your coldsore has broken open and you want to dry it out..the best is chlorhexidine 0.5% 70% alcohol..just put a few drops of this on there.. if you dont have any of that you can use iodine antiseptic.. if you dont wash your hands you can transfer this to the genital region! ok i tried everything until i asked my doctor Im all valtrex at the sign of one and then zilactin<---over the counter, which has boric acid that feels soo freakin good when my cold sore starts to appear. My cold sore goes to the last stages and is gone in two days with out embarrassing bumps!! tried it seriously.

Moisturize your lips with lip balm and make sure when your cold sore heals to throw that lip balm away because that bacteria from the lip balm can cause another cold sore!! :)

i tried your remedy,but unlike your video,when i applied the salt it was not in solution form because i didnt dip the cotton bud in water first before i dipped in salt(like the applying salt directly on the cold sore),then i followed the remaing procedure ..u think its ok?cos even if i dipped cotton bud in water first the salt will still not be in solution(salt will still have been dry )and how many times do i do the remedy?and should i continue using the cream?

Using warm water with the salt will help heal your cold sore quicker making it dry then moisturize with a lip balm once it has dryed out compelete. That what I would recommend! :) hope that help! You should do the remedy has many times until your cold sore is completely dryed out.

Well, ok. Or you can just dab on some Cold Sores Begone when you feel the tingling warning sign, and the sore won't come out at all. Someone posted below that nail polish remover works better. Plse don't do that, it's SO toxic, and your skin is an organ, it absorbs into your system whatever you put on it. Cold Sores Begone is natural and prevents the cold sore so there's no reason not to use that instead. It's about $11.

It does work and helps the cold sore go away faster but adding salt to it will make it look kindof gross and dryed out. You could treat it then wear some sort of lipstick over it and then make sure you throw that lipstick away when your cold sore is gone. When I had this cold sore it went away in about 3 days after I applied salt. But remember it does hurt but it helps it heal faster.

i always eat those limon lays chips and they are super salty and a lot of the times my cold sores end up worse or even make them show up! so like idk if this remedy truly helps. =(

Yes, this remedy truly does help. It helped for me when I made this video! I was very happy after the remedy process because my cold sore went away so quickly and I was able to move on to my life.

It will make it worse for about 2 days but the cold sore goes away much faster then usually. Usually it takes about a full week or longer for cold sores to heal.

If your going away somwhere the next day. Don't apply the salt because it will be worse the next day. However, what you can do is just use product that are not as strong on the cold sore so it doesnt look as noticable. But your probably going to still have that cold sore when you come back from your trip if you dont apply the salt water. The salt drys it out and then the cold sore will peel then heal.
