Thank you for the kind words. The transmission turned out to be a bigger project than first thought. On teardown it appears the converter balloned and then took out the tolerances in the trans and it slowly ate itself to death. It looked like graphite instead of trans fluid. A new custom billet converter and full performance rebuild was done but completed just in time for winter storage. Now it's getting rear discs, hydroboost, thunderbird front calipers and a kwik shift shifter.
It's a sealed 12V hydraulic pump from a lawn tractor. I found this one in a local Buy & Sell paper and it's been trouble free for years, not that it has to work very hard :)
Please for the love of God tell where to get one of those pre-oilers for my truck ive seen them before but when I ask about them everybody thinks they dont exsist!!
