  • Wheres the coffee? Haaahaaahaa

  • I'm thinking about making this for christmas. A blueberry one and a cherry one :)

  • almost 3 years later and i still absolutely LOVEE this recipe. i actually substitute strawberry instead of the cherry but UGH it's soo yummy!! i'm going to be making 3 of them for thanksgiving! ;)

  • everytime you say "ok" i agree with you out loud "uhuh" .... imagine how strange this looks to my mum walking into my room * i have earphones in* ... "uhuh..... uhuh..... ok" ..... she may think im talkin to myself :| x

  • My husband doesn't like cherries, so we substitute the cherries for blueberry pie filling. It is really good!

  • made with rasberries and neufchatel cheese(less fat and more moisture) sooo delicious much cheaper than buying puff pastry dough

  • @partyglobes by the way if anybody is stupid it's you, because you eat it with coffee, there isn't supposed to be coffee in it.

  • @partyglobes You don't have to be such an asshole either saying she's a "stupid American," you think you're so fucking great because youre from another country? You seriously just need to get a life and quit hating.

  • this looks minging... For one why is it a "coffee cake" as there is no coffee in it. and its NOT A CAKE. this is stupid lol... maybe consider renaming your recipes you stupid American :\

  • I can't live a day with my cup of coffee! I got some good blend tips at coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com

  • I am SOOOOOOOOO

    gonna subscribe now!!!

  • I just finished making this for christmas [: I substituted the cherry filling for strawberries and made it in the shape of the chicken ring :D

    thanks for the inspiration!

  • That was great. Good recipe.

  • I am making one for thanksgiving tomorrow so THANKS for the idea!!

  • You said this was inexpensive, right? I'm short on money and don't have much for food....

  • how many times did she say 'kay' in this vid? i'd guess like atleast 50 times.

  • MMMMMM MILF!

  • milf

  • Yummmmm!!!

  • Looks awesome.

though..I've watched a fair bit of your videos now..and my god woman you say "mmkay" and "ok" all the freaking time. (:

  • I just made this for my family and they loved it so much that I had to make two! It was so simple and tasted great with vanilla ice cream :)

  • I tried this and it turned out amazing. Thanks so much!!!

  • I have this in the oven right now, can't wait to try it! :)

  • Where is the coffe

  • @lamrenee801 You eat it with coffee, you don't make it with coffee. It's like "tea pastries", you don't make them with tea, but you eat them with it.

  • excellent!

  • itz really cool !! i luv cherry

  • yummy

  • she luvs pillsbury cresent rolls.

  • Did I miss something? Where's the coffee...help someone?

  • i think thats a you eat it with coffee kinda thing

  • You eat it w/ a cup of coffee.

  • Totally making this again for Christmas! Going to try blueberry pie filling this time though =D I cant wait!!!!!! =P~~~

  • when you cut the strips in the dough do you cut it completely across or do you leave a block uncut where you put the filling?

  • @kymmiehi I think she leaves a block uncut, I started to cut all the way across, and had a huge mess in my oven lol

  • thankyou so much :) i want to make it for christmas eve and i don't really have much oppurtunity to do a test run so i want it to turn out as good as possible the first time!

  • You leave a block uncut in the middle. I usually leave about three inches, and I use a pizza slicer to cut my strips. The strips seem to work best for me when they are 1/2 inches wide. This is an awesome recipe.

  • gonna make it for thanksgiving

  • @TiinaSoCute It's a Coffe cake... So theres not gonna be any coffee in it...

  • I made this for the second time. It was gone within an hour. My family DEVOURED this. Absolutely delicious!!

  • ...you have a choice to not watch an American cooking channel ....

  • yummie

  • this is a dessert you could eat with your coffee =)

  • it isn't cake either :p

  • Coffee cake is meant to be EATEN WITH coffee...

  • i love ur kitchen too!!!

  • wow...wow...wow...wow!!!!!!!!!!!

    uh-mazing

    ^>ok that wuz a bit middle schoolish...lol

    butt seriously htis is great!!!!

    i love ur stuff!!!!

  • I made this for this past weekend and I got so many raves! I sent them all here for the recipe! So many of your recipes have become regular requests. Thanks so much!

  • you rock Mary... this has become a staple in our house, if I don't make it every couple weeks I start to hear "when you going to make that cherry cheese thing again" :)

  • no shit shirlock. xD

but i mean like how are you supposed to eat that with coffee..

  • put it on a plate and use a fork to take bites of it, between sips of coffee? I dont understand what you're asking, exactly. Eating something with coffee seems pretty straightforward.

  • whats coffee about it?

  • Coffee cakes usually don't have coffee in them. They are meant to be eaten with coffee.

  • Im making this tomorrow with canned apple filling ^_^ cant wait

  • I've made this twice now! It's great and super easy.

  • i can't wait to try this recipe too.

  • hahahhahahaha 1:03 gets me every time mommy! hahaha

  • mm that looks AMAZING. :D i seriously wanna eat this... <3

  • Totally just made this with Nutella insted of the cream cheese, and strawberries instead of cherries.. it's just amazing!

  • i think im going to try this-- but with strawberries instead of cherries..NOM. :)

  • yumm.. gonna try this with blueberries!!

  • your a genius!

  • how is there coffe in it

  • It's not supposed to contain actual coffee. It's just something you'd eat with coffee.

  • think you eat it while you drink coffe

  • I made this today for breakfast/brunch and it was awesome!! Thank you for the recipe! No doubt this will remain a favorite of mine!

  • made this twice so far. My boyfriend likes and his mom LOVES it. Thanks for the recipe!!

  • You can work magic with canned crescent rolls!

  • i just made this but without the cream cheese. I dont know why ive never thought to put two and two together. It turned out amazing.

  • By the way, how do you like using a baking stone? My aunt (who is an excellent baker) uses only stones and she tells me there's a WORLD of difference between them and metal pans. She got me a stone muffin pan and I like it alright, I guess you have to get them "seasoned" first.

  • A stone muffin pan is works well but really needs to be seasoned well. They are very hard to clean otherwise. I have alot of flat stones and I would never use anything different.

  • Whoooa....I want to try that! MMM!

  • Super Milf??? ... anyone?

  • I love your videos your recipes remind me of sandra lee's semi homemade recipes from the food network.

  • I've got another one in the oven right now - made one last week with the cherries, this time I did blueberry pie filling instead. I also used the Pillsbury Recipe Creations dough, it's easier to work with - no seams :) And when looking for cream cheese I found ready made cheesecake filling by Philadelphia, so I bought that as it's easier than making it from scratch. My cherry one came out SO good - cant wait to try the blueberry one when it's done :)

  • It's funny but I looked for the Pillsbury Creations dough yesterday and could not find it. I only heard about it from all of you. THanks.....Mary

  • I have two Safeways within five minutes of my house - one always has it, one never does, so it's a bit hit or miss... I'd just try a couple different grocery stores and hopefully you can find it :) Btw, making another cherrycheese coffeecake tomorrow morning - it's become a bit of a weekend tradition now, we have one every two or three weeks :> my bf loves it.

  • oh my gosh i tried this with strawberry jam instead of the cherry and it was really good!!!!thank you mary for this wonderful recipe!!!!

  • where's the coffee?

  • Aha! I get it! You mean coffee as in a "tea cake". Gotcha. Is that an American thing to say that??

  • it's a "coffee cake" because you eat it while drinking coffee.

  • gawsh now i want cheese cake

    2moro gonna make some =]

    err buy haha :P

  • omg i want some!! :D

but why do you call it

    coffee cake??

  • I am eating an apple right now. I would much rather be eating that, haha.

That honestly does look really simple and cheap! I'll have to try it sometime. :D

  • om nom nom.

  • isnt that a bit like a pastry plait, thats what we call it in england anyway lol.

    it looks amazing though

  • it looks so good.

  • mine's in the oven right now :)

  • amazing! i just started watching your channel today and i love it

  • I made this right ater I saw it, but with peaches. It's so yummm good

  • oh NICE! I'll try it!

You have such creative cooking :]

  • .. i want you to be my mom and bake me delishious things like this one.

  • yum yum tht looks soo gooooodddd!! i'll try it for sure

  • I want to just favorite your whole channel. This is how real cooking lessons should be: easy & affordable. Thanx so much.

  • Okay so I made this and it was YUMMY! I'm making it for everyone at work, but since not everyone likes cherries, I'm doing half cherry and half apple next time. That should be pretty good too.

And while I was shopping for the crescent rolls I found that Pillsbury actually makes the same dough without the crescent perforations (it's just a flat sheet of it still in the little rolled up can form)... so that was pretty handy.

  • Really, I will have to look for it. Thanks...

  • Delicious!!! Somewhere Sandra Lee is shaking in her boots :o)

  • But I bet they are very nice boots.

  • This is probably the most delicious thing I've ever seen.

  • omg that looks sooo good, but just wondering why is coffee cake in the name of it if it doesnt consist of any of it

  • coffee cake means it can be served with coffee, it doesnt mean it consists of any

  • oh ok thanks

  • ah i wasnt informed for taste test

  • Darn! no seal of approval by Kevin :(

    j/k lol

    Great job. Looks good.

  • lol

  • what flavor crescent rolls do u use?

  • regular flavor

  • The regular ones. You can use the low-fat ones but need to keep them cold and work quickly with them.

  • Fellow brit here, you can buy flat sheet pastry from Tesco/Waitrose that you can cut in to the correct shape and put them round the edge.

  • Thanks. I have a girl that I work with from the UK that I keep asking questions of. I appreciate you girls helping me out as well......Thanks....Mary

  • That's sounds like it would be delicious looks delicious too!! Gottta try this!

  • OMG! That looks goooooooood

    Yummi Yum Yum!

  • Mmmmm that looks YUMMY!!! I don't bake... or cook for that matter but that makes me what to try it. lol.

  • YUUMMMYYY

  • wheres the "coffee" part?

  • lol i wondered that in past videos. it just means it's good with coffee. i don't know why they don't just call it cake

  • its a coffee cake aka u eat it with coffee (not necessarily though). think of starbucks coffee cake, theres no coffee in it. :)

  • that looks superr yummy! i am going to have to try this one out!

  • what can i use instead of cresent rolls because i live in the uk and there not sold here, but i really wanna make this!

5 stars for anyone who helps mee!!! :D

  • i should imagine you could use a block of jus roll puff pastry or some other ready to roll generic pastry!

  • Let me ask my friend from the UK and I will get back to you.

  • Comment removed

  • yummy, i'd add strawberries though :P

  • My bf and I just made this.. OMG! He LOVED it!

Unfortunately for me, I'm sick so I can't really taste much. But I'm taking his word for it.. I had to stop him from 1. eating it as soon as it came out of the oven.. and 2. eating the entire thing all at once.

5 Stars! I can't wait for the next video!

  • that look so good :]

  • CRAP I meant to give this 5 stars and my mouse slipped to the 4 sorry!

    Keep those great recipes coming!

  • when you say powdered sugar, do you mean white granulated sugar, or the fluffy icing sugar?

  • Powdered sugar is confectioners sugar.

  • Powdered sugar, also known as confectioner's sugar or icing sugar, is granulated sugar that has been ground into a very fine powder :)

    Good old wiki....

  • Confectionary sugar. The fluffy icing kind.

  • god, why does everyone think theres coffee in it!? lol,

i freaking hate cherry think it would work with anything else?

  • well it's a "coffee cake" which i would think implies that one of the ingredients is coffee instead of just eating it with coffee.

otherwise why isn't there the word "coffee" in every sweet thing if you eat it with coffee???

  • exactly!!

  • You can use blueberry pie filling or even sliced up apples with some cinnamon and sugar on top will work as well.

  • thanks, i wasnt able to catch the last part of your video so thanks :)

  • looks delish!

did i miss the "coffee" ingredient in this video? did you add any coffee lol i must have missed it.... :S

  • Coffee cake goes along with coffee it doesn't have coffee in it

  • looks good. reminds me of butter braids i used to sell in sixth grade. They were so good but really pricey. Now I know how to make them. An idea, though i haven't tried it, is to boil some strawberries with water and sugar to make like a syrup if you don't like cherries, because my dad doesn't like cherries too much.

  • i want some now sooo badly!

  • i love your food I've made everything you've shared and I was wondering if you had a good recepie for pasta salad i've seen so many versions and don't know where to start

  • Your welcome in my kitchen any time!!
