The computer is a Core2 Dual 630, Nvidea 7900GS, 1 GIG firstix RAM. I use FRAPS to record the video, and Sony Vegas to edit.

Im not sure which sim you are using, but I believe you forgot to mention the "in game" recording function when you replied to HERMESFMs question. In other words, I dont think you recorded this video with fraps as you were actually flying. I could be wrong but it would have been mutch harder that way.

I think manbird forgot to mention, most simulators have their own recorders. You can view the recordings from many angles and perspectives. Then you can record scenes with Fraps before editing them with software like Sony Vegas.

It's actually a default button in fs that allows you to drop exterior tanks.

Actually as a pilot MSFS {flight simulator}. Is extremely realistic. It is an excellent training aid. I have used it to practice instrument approaches. It is very good for learning systems, instruments, procedures etc. The flight dynamics are also quite good. Plus it's just fun. :)

I was expecting a combat vid, but WOW! The beginning was art! What was the name of the music at the very beginning? It fit beautifully. If I had a critique though, it would be that Carmina Burana didn't quite fit the slow, majestic pace of the air show segment - it's better suited towards "glorious battle" type scenes.

I wanted to ramp up the action much more to fit the music, but this was a video done for a friend of mine 'Dudley Henriques' who's a well known P-51 pilot and there were set manuevers that he wanted me to show reflective of his days airshowing the P-51 in real life.
