how many amp's is this drawing and from what power source it produces good how warm do the wires get

Between 20-22 Amp's, using a 12 volt battery. The wires do get quite warm after running beyond a minute or so....(I wouln't say, they get HOT). I plan on changing to a lower gage wire for safety.
